I will say that this is one of the few guns in the game where your choice of skin can actually drastically effect how easy it is to use. Any of the "western" style skins, like the black one with the pearl handles or the gold engraved one have a way thicker center post on the front iron sight, which actually makes it way harder to hit people with at range, compared to any of the other skins which have a much thinner center post with a white dot on it, which makes it so much easier to judge your shots, so if you are struggling with it and using one of those western skins try swapping to a different skin, I noticed a huge improvement in my own play once I did that!
I definitely see that now, this is definitely some solid advice!

This is such a needed guide, as the revolver feels so awkward to use for some reason. I had no idea that the iron sight of this weapon doesn't accurately represent where bullets would land. Having that knowledge clears up so much confusion for me. Also, the training routines you come up for each weapon are so spot on.

For controller players. I found out that there’s no need to compensate for recoil because it returns back to its original position everytime. So ease up on that right stick. So, your first shot is extremely important because each follow up shot will go where you originally aimed.
Another thing I noticed is the hip accuracy, specifically when you’re crouch. If you have a dispersion reticle(not static) you’ll notice how tight your cursor will be. So, crouching and hip firing can help in close quarters situations.
I was pairing this with the glitch trap to stop lights from dashing. I like all the nades, because any amount of damage you can chip away from the enemy can help secure a kill.
I’m very new to the gun, so there are my early observations. Like anything, you have to put in the time and learn the rhythm of the guns on here.
1. Your first shot has to be a good one.
2. Crouching makes the hip fire extremely accurate.
3. Little to no right stick because the gun resets.
4. Pair other gadgets to chip away from their hp to make your job easier.
5. Be patient. It takes time
6. Oh, and take fights where your opponent is moving in a straight line as much as possible vs them moving horizontally.
I also think while transversing the map with teammates, you can snap on to your teammates. Their movement we be similar to what you’ll see in fights. Just ads and ads and ads on them. Follow them in at different ranges.
Hipfire only matches. No adsing for some matches

From the bottom of my heart, thank you, I have absolutely loved the revolver since day 1 but could never get any consistency from it. Maybe one game I'd pop off and have the most kills and the other, sitting at the bottom of the chart. This guide is genuinely one of the best I've seen (granted probably cause the entire video was news to me).

hipfiring seriously becomes CRAZY accurate when crouched. Any close-melee range fight i get caught in, this gets me out of it. You might tank a shot or two more because youre not moving - but your shots are A LOT more valuable than theirs. Ive won 1v3s because of it
That’s really accurate and true. Every shot for the revolver is super valuable, making patiently taking your shots so important. Also once I start hip firing while crouched, I couldn’t go back to shooting normally lol. It is ridiculously fun!

I love this gun, it’s technically my main in terms of time used but i play better with other weapons. The 6 round mag plus the constant burden of trying to hit crits makes this gun’s “ease of use” one of the least friendly of the entire game. I kinda don’t want it to be buffed though, at least not in a meta breaking way. One buff I would love to see is more damage against shields and equipment.

Super cool video, i love the revolver and these tips were all really really nice.
I'd like to say though that the video's transitions and glitch effect were sometimes a little too annoying and obstructive of real information especially because the information was coming in and going out really fast. I think a cleaner edit would benefit from this. That's just from an external viewer's perspective though, keep it up!

I have a built-in crosshair on my monitor, needless to say I have the game's crosshair turned off ;)
Honestly man I don’t blame you, crosshair at times becomes less useful and more of a distraction.
@@HazedNConfused I just like using it while sniping because when I snipe while moving the bullet doesn't land where the scope is aiming, instead it just goes middle of the monitor so having that 4 pixel point on screen helps
Love revolver, but in WT or in old rating it was weak vs meta weapons. U need to land every headshot or you will die
It definitely is an improvement, it just needs a slight buff (not damage related) geared towards medium to short range.
It literally only needs a 1 damage buff that way you can two tap lights with no head shots
That or standing hip fire accuracy on par with the 1887, faster ads movement, or wider fov when in ADS.

What’s better the model or the revolver
They both require accuracy and understanding. However at the moment the model wins just because of the consistent bullet spread when hip-firing. If the revolver bullet spread didn’t widen when sprinting, they definitely be on equal footing!

The bullet not going where you're aiming is the most annoying thing in this game. Just so frustrating and inconsistent and you're going to get banned if you use 3rd party crosshairs

or just draw a damn dot on the screen. It isnt cheating and it is bad game design to expect terrible iron-sights to be a part of a gun's skill level. Everyone should use their monitor's settings to bypass this in every game they can do it on.
I personally don’t use it, but I understand why players do utilize reticle overlays. When a player misses it should be because of variables a player can see and control not the other way around.

What resolution are you playing?
For MnK I use 1900X1200, because I have a widescreen monitor. As for controller I use either 1920X1080 or 2560X1440 because it is easier to track fast close range opponents. Hope this helps!
