As someone who has beaten all the island bosses on alpha with allos, I knew they could do it. Thank you for showing others that allos are good boss creatures
The only problem is the number of mutations he uses. He's using super juiced dinos. 90%+ of the dinos he uses aren't worth that effort and time. If you're not using crazy breeding rates, 40 mutations is a LOT of time. You're better off just going with rexes which can sweep the board with no mutations.

If someone has these dinos and loves them and maybe wants to shoot their shot at the bosses, this series is helpful, and at the very least entertaining. Regarding rexes, I have not done it myself but have seen that without mutations, unless MAYBE you maxed out levels, Rexes can't complete Beta everything, let alone Alpha; and you still have the overseer. Sure, not as many mutations but still need them.
Yeah allosaurs! Allos are my go-to creature for the megapithecus and I like to re-use my boss army from that to fight the Overseer since they run faster than rexes and as you demonstrated here, they're fully capable of taking down each of the Overseer's transformations.

If allows had the attack speed in-between a raptor/spino they'd be absolute dps monsters. Also if you had the option to disable the gnash attack they'd put out more dps since they can't bleed the bosses.

This is the same world and server I used for my ASA island series but that was completed a week or so before I began this. I figured I'd keep it instead of wiping since I already had a bunch of breeding lines that I referenced when tuning in the spawnexactdino command for this series. Mutated levels and levels gained after experience provide different values. I wanted it to be as close to what people will experience with default settings (minus the saddles of course - but that might change)
You say underdog but, I remember even as recent as the summer of 2020 they were a decent but old choice for bosses. We were in lock down and my buddy and I played through ARK for the first time and got to Aberration but when we started on the Island we used Allos for the monkey and just like this video he melted like he was born to die fighting them. We used Megatherium and Therizino for the other fights...but, I'm tempted to try them out. We just started a new private map cluster in ARK Ascended so, they might be on the list for some boss runs next month. We're in the middle to late game now getting our cave dinos mutating.
150 and higher is achievable with a 124 blueprint, they just get set to 125 once the werver resets correct? Soakers only have a 99.8 cap I believe, so I just went with 150 because there are a few dinos in this series that struggle with gamma with a 124 cap saddle. I can post a poll and see what the interest is in using the cap for the remaining episodes
@@Boomsmithit is possible to get above 124 on official it’s just difficult I’ve had 156 armor Giga saddles before. You can get them from events or ridiculously high crafting characters and you need to keep tames in Cryo or saddle in upload to protect them when the servers reset
Were all of your Allos the same level? If they were, none of them were getting the pack leader buff (50% bonus damage and 25% damage resistance). It’s a pretty huge buff, and if you mismatch their levels you can often squeeze multiple alphas out of a group this size for the boss fights.
Ok now im curious how your settings are, do you have stats close to official? I know single player is boosted but just curious, because this seems doable and i have been talking about this for years lol.
Settings are official when I do these. Any video prior to the Chalicotherium was with 150 armor saddles. Chalicotherium onwards had official server caps. The armor mitigation difference was very small and didn't make a difference.

If you look they are using there secondary attack. For some reason there just not inflicting the bleed on bosses. Probably a change they made so you can’t bleed and run bosses anymore

I tested all the bosses of the island few day ago with my allosaurus army, everything was easy until the dragon, so maybe there was a bug, they were all killed by the gamma dragon, I am in official PVE server and the stats of my allosaurus 48k HP 2k Melee and all with 124 mythic saddles, :(
You must be getting a LOT of element with these videos. Also, I'd like to see Gigantopithecus fight, especially the Megapithecus because it would be funny. Also, I'm not sure if it's possible since I've never seen any videos using flying dinos, but the Argentavis would be a cool watch.

Why level 150 saddles? People playing official settings can only use 124 saddles so this is kinda hard to compare.
