Those are some nice looking steaks, man! They are eating like kings! 😆
Love your dogs. Cinder looks so much like she has working line German Shepherd in her somewhere back in the line. Do you know? It's not a criticism. I think working line shepherds are amazing dogs.
Love your videos! Your dogs are awesome, thanks for sharing!
You should check out 1st508th Airbourne. He does pack feeding with all his Lycan Shepherd’s. Pretty interesting videos.
Thank you, I will!
Are they both Dutch shepherd or they a mix of Belgium and Dutch shepherds?
They are a mix
I typically find that Kent's has the lowest price on meat. I use the Clearfield location.
What does their daily diet consist of?
Right now it’s a lamb rice kibble, supplemented with some raw meat, might go full raw at some point.
Is cinder so much smaller because she is a girl? I want a Dutch shepherd but the only big deterrent for me is that they are relatively on the smaller side
I think Cinder is normal DS size, Jax is on the tall side, originally I wanted them to get a big as possible but now I actually prefer Cinders size.
Is like having a gun this dog you have to worry about any thing you can sleep at night like a baby
Awesome dogs, advise to chop them up to chunks. These dogs aren't typically built for large cuts. They choke and don't digest properly otherwise. Thanks for showing these two amazing dogs!
You’re welcome, thanks for the comment.
shepherds still have the tools to eat large chunks of meat…they don‘t need little chunks lol
Hi, do you feed your dogs regular food or barf?
Regular, I have considered going raw and might in the future.
Did you buy the dogs form a local breeder? I am trying to find one.
Yeah I did, I checked my local classifieds every day for a couple months. When I got Jax I asked the guy to contact me if he ever had another litter, I got Cinder a year later. To my knowledge he no longer breeds dogs.
@@predictionpain2632 ksl?
@@steeltalon2317 yeah
@@predictionpain2632 bought a 10 month old Malinois X yesterday from a breeder in Idaho. Trying to get him used to our home right now. Do you ever worry about one of your dogs getting lost when with them in the Wasatch Mountains?
@@steeltalon2317 Cinder wandered off once, so I worry about her a little, but she found her way back.
Are they used to eating raw food?
My 4 month gsd tear those babies in less than a min. If cut in half less
ThAn 10 seconds
No they aren’t, I’m thinking about going raw though.
I see now, cinder was like uhmm tasty im going lick this to death. You wont regret it. I live in a pretty expensive country and it runs for less than a premium dog food
My German is 11 and he can make short work of anything. He found a calzone ring that was huge on a sidewalk and that was about a minute. My 2 year old female is a Rottweiler/Shepherd mix and eats SLOW. She’d eat a steak pretty slow like his dogs. My puppy is a Dutch/German and 6 months. He can gobble kibble but those steaks would buffalo (pun) him with his new teeth.
My 12 week old GR would make quick work of any raw meat 😂 no matter the size
Witch one is the Dutch shepherd
Both are 3/4 Dutch and 1/4 malinois
Predictionpain Is there such a thing as a “purebred” Dutchie? Or are they mixed Mal’s w/ the brindle?
I don’t really know to be honest, all I know is they are pretty much the same breed. I think you’re right, it’s mostly a coloring thing. As far as I know DS aren’t recognized by the AKC which is a good thing IMHO.
Predictionpain AKC: A$$holes Killing Canines. I’m with you on that. As soon as they get that designation all the screwed up breeding begins because these backyard Billy’s think “ima make me a super dog and get $10K per pup.” Pretty soon the breed’s aggregate lifespan is down to 7 years with degenerative hip dysplasia becoming the dominant trait. Well I like how you are raising your Dutchies. Great times!
The ds is an oficial breed since 2014 or something like this acording to the FCI ( AKC for the Rest of the world) and its basicly the missing line from the 4 belgium shepherds a dark bm i hope this helps a bit and sorry for my Bad english greetings from germany 😊
why are you having a steak competition?
Give me a good food of the 7th and apple gear p 24 -
If you cut up meat it becomes harder for them to eat. Bigger pieces requires more chewing and it's better for digestion. They'll just swallow little bits out of frustration. Eating slowly is better for them, plus they get to enjoy their meal for longer and work their jaw muscles. Great dogs though dude!
That makes sense, thanks for the recommendation!
You're wellcome you have great dogs and I very much enjoy your videos. Dogs that eat more slowly show great confidence and control as hastey eating comes from competing with their litter mates ad pups. It's great to see your dogs know they can really enjoy their dinner
Absolutely beautiful dogs!!
Hey man, what do you feed your dogs on a daily basis? You feed real food or do you stick with kibble?
Girls obviously savour their food!! Lol
Hi your dogs look great where did you get them from I have a Dutch shepherd now and I’m looking to get a pup so if you have time please let me know where I can get one thanks
A breeder here in Utah, I believe Cinder was in the last litter and he’s out of the game now.
Ok thanks for the reply and have a good one 👍👌
Love this!
I need your backyard!!
Hey there. Please see RUclips vid “Dutch Shepherd Dog Breed Information”. Posted just yesterday. Uses many clips from your vids. Just an FYI for a hard working American.
Hey, thanks I appreciate the heads up.
