How to perform recut or offset in OONA Tools
The Recut and Offset options allow you to adapt previously created subtitles to a video with new timecodes.
Find the place in the video where you want the subtitles to start and place the play-head on that spot in the timeline.
From the menu bar select Timecode- Recut/Offset option
The timecode you selected with the play-head is already auto-populated as the Target Time.
Check that the subtitle number of the first subtitle you want to start re-cutting from is listed in the Start index and press Sync.
The timeline will be recut to the place you chose.
Use the Offset by option when you need to add or subtract time from the timecode,
For example, when you need to change the time code of the subtitle file from 0-hour format to 1-hour format,
Select +in direction and set Offset to 01:00:00:00, and press Sync.
This will shift all the subtitles, adding to them one hour.
