Super nice vehicle! Nice video - I’m surprised at how many videos of this nature never have a shot of the entire vehicle from the side. I just watched one on a beautiful old Lincoln and I couldn’t find one instant when the entire vehicle was in frame on a side shot.
@@mattsommers4111 Still won't be as graceful as a hot start. You're just squirting liquid gas straight down the intake manifold instead of feeding the engine a good fuel-air blend. Plus oil battery and air temperature matter too, so I guess it was reductive to attribute it all to gas evaporation. But that's usually the issue I have after an engine's been sitting for more than a week or so.
@@roachy69 Hiya Roachy- Not to speak for the owner of this particular car, but back in the Eighties I had a 1960 convertible that had custom dual exhaust... It ran the stock exhaust manifolds, ran into 2" stainless pipe and mine had FOUR Smithy's stainless steel packed mufflers on it... Two on each pipe. It sounded similar to this Fleetwood, but was a little quieter because of the two smaller mufflers near the ends of the pipes that were used as resonators. I'd imagine if someone only ran TWO Smitty's in the normal muffler location, the car would end up sounding almost exactly like this one. Cheers
She's a beauty!!
Music to my ears

And people try to tout how fast cars start today. That picked right up.
Yeah cuz it was a hot start.. once the modern fuel in the carb evaporates out it takes some cranking to get it to fire off.
@@tubbs2132 couldn't you just pump the pedal once or twice?

Nice car. Tail lights, not so nice.
I remember when we saw cars like this everyday on our roads, long before they began dumping all these ugly ass foreign cars on our shores.
Falsche Heckleuchten!
Good eye.
