I like this song. It's certainly a different one, but everything about it sounds something like Sick Puppies would write. Especially the lyrics, you can tell it's Sick Puppies. I really see no change.
I like it as an acoustic song. If there's an original version to it, I'm interested if it'll be done crappy mainstream-like. I really hope these guys go back to being more original.

No, it simply a matter of this song not being musically full. It has decent lyrics but musically its too thin in tone. There is no diversity in the sound through out the song and there is no rise and fall dynamically. For something to be truly musical it must have dynamics and moods and full tones not just a brittle acoustic with a quite singing voice over the top. Also please name five songs from sick puppies that have 0 drums and bass aside from this song.

yeah, but they arent really well written. good writing is implicit...its not terrible i guess but it feels almost like its trying too hard to be deep.
