My favorite mod is by far the colored map. All it does is let you color the different map encounters different colors to make it easier to tell what's what at a glance.

Hard agree. I think it needs to be rare, and I think it needs to cost AT LEAST 2. It's just unreasonably cheap for its power level. But that's not to mention the fact that Crystal Conduit also channels another orb! That seems completely excessive, given the existing power of any crystal orb. However, it's clear that Crystal Conduit's card identity is all about channeling crystal + one random orb, so we need to make that reasonable somehow. I suggest that Crystal Conduit becomes a Rare or Legendary card with the following stats:
Cost 2 - Channel 1 Crystal. Channel 1 random orb. Shuffle 1 Void into your draw pile.

@@davidbritton5282 Oh, get over yourself. Even the best designers make oversights. The devs of the original game (which is supremely balanced on an astonishing number of levels) still made a few mistakes on launch, like making Well-Laid Plans cost 0. However, they heard player feedback and eventually acknowledged that Well-Laid Plans was too powerful to be free, so they increased the cost - and the game has been better for that adjustment. I don't think what I'm proposing is any different from that. Especially when this mod is introducing powerful new mechanics that may lend themselves to unexpected interactions with the existing balance of the base game. If even the devs of the incredibly balanced base game could make mistakes, then I think it's obvious that an outside mod developer would be capable of _at least_ the same level of oversight.

Frozen Core would be really good with those crystal orbs, free frost orb basically every time you evoke a crystal orb (haven't finished the video, don't know if Frost gets one)
I feel like the Ghost Pet is above average for a common relic tbh. It's only bad if you just so happen to be running calculated gamble or have a strange spoon, or maybe unceasing top. If your only discard is a single reboot then you're really only losing 1 draw per combat which you break even on if you manage to use a single Ghost Fetch, If you manage to use two then you're draw positive. I mean really it's a 1/3 chance to get 1 draw each turn (depending on if you have any basics left in the draw pile), the strikes and defends are icing on the cake. Not to mention potential exhaust synergy with ironclad or finding that eruption/vigilance as watcher.
Iron Hammer and Anti virus are just so fucking cracked poor ghosty boy pales in comparison. I actually can't believe they made what is essentially a better medkit a common relic.

Hey frost, in the shops you can purchase the shop mat by clicking the tag on the right. Your face cam usually covers it.
Late to the party but I found it curious as well that Frost was so against the Ghost Relic 1:02:31. It has a non-synergy with Reboot, which exhausts on use so it's a one-time issue, but the relic provides a base card or a tutor for a base card (which can be very good) and the cards Exhaust and are Ethereal so barring shuffling your own hand into your deck, they shouldn't be an issue but just provides you with an additional card. It even increases your maximum hand size, so it doesn't block your card draw. This also means that any enemy that seeks to flood you with status cards has less effect because you're guaranteed a base card.
I found the relic to be relatively harmless and mildly useful - which is what I expect from most Common relics (~150g).
It has good synergy in exhaust-based decks for something like the Ironclad, gaining free block/card draw through Feel no Pain / Dark Embrace. Pair it with Corruption for occasional free block. Pair it with Quantum Egg (uncommon relic from Replay the Spire) so they upgrade and becomes mildly good base cards.
On a different note I also really like the Replay the Spire content and the mod itself. What I like the best from the mod was the new curses that technically can work as benefits.
Examples includes the curse (Splinters) that at beginning of combat adds two playable curses into your drawpile that can be played for 0, you take 2 damage and draw a card, exhaustive 2. It's just meant as card hindrance which you can choose to bypass with a health cost. This curse has synergies with Ironclad's cards that care about taking damage, like the Rupture power that grants +1/2 strength whenever a card causes you to lose HP.
Another curse I found potentially beneficial was the curse that is unplayable but plays itself from your hand at the end of turn to create a random card and shuffle into your deck. With the Quantum Egg uncommon relic that upgrades cards that are generated during combat, this proved to be a bonus rather than a hindrance. On occasion it added some garbage, but I favor card draw so a few dead draws are easy to overlook.
Another is Over-Encumbered. When drawn you add 3 Dazes to your hand and draw a card. Basically it takes up 4 slots in your hand but if your deck cares about exhausting cards, then adding Dazes to your hand is not the worst that can happen.
I really liked those occasions where curses actually turned out to be helpful, rather than always a negative. I thought that was neat design. An example of this in the non-modded version of StS is the Necronomicon curse (which you cannot get rid of even if you exhaust it), the Blue Candle (that lets you play curses to exhaust them but costing 1 life), and then any card/relic that cares about you losing HP (Rupture, Self-Forming Clay, Runic Cube, and a once time Centennial Puzzle) or exhausting cards (Feel no Pain, Dark Embrace, Charon's Ashes)
Having more such interactions available by chance through curses is a positive to me.

I feel like the MVP this run was the anti virus relic, much more than the crystal orb.
I think a run where you take the boss swap, then through out the run you take relics and cards that negates the effects of one another such as taking a regal pillow while already having coffee dripper as an example

More replay the spire. It is really the #1 content mod.
Any act mod made by darkglade begs to differ, especially ruina... I mean sure replay has some new content and all... but then we got 5 whole acts with unique enemies, events, mechanics and even a new card colour which is effectively black cards from infinite spire but with more unique effects

This deck could've gone a lot harder than I think Frost realized. He seemed to miss that it only cost 1 artifact *per turn* to exhaust and redraw every status card drawn for the rest of the turn. He could have been much more liberal with turbo/hologram combos and the voids would just exhaust with all the extra artifacts from deep breath. The deck had a little to much to go infinite, but I think the potential was pretty close.

I play on both my phone and PC and ever since you introduced me to replay the spire, playing vanilla on my phone feels so lackluster. My favorite build is dex scaling poison silent and replay the spire makes it feel so so so much stronger

Anti-virus almost doesn't seem to work? It says it should only consume one artifact to exhaust the drawn status effect and any other drawn that turn. But then proceeds to eat an artifact for every status and doesn't exhaust any other status cards drawn that turn. So either its bugged or they should change the description

I gotcha. So, Lightning orbs do 3 damage passively, and 8 when evoked. This is before factoring in focus. With each point of focus, this damage increases by 1. With Data Disk, Frost’s focus is already at +1. They then play Consume+, which adds +3 focus. Thus, you get 3+1(data disk)+3(consume+) = 7 points of passive damage from each lightning orb, and 8+1(data disk)+3(consume+) = 12 damage when a lightning orb is evoked. Hope that helps!

I don’t think Skeko Heart can make Meteor Strike cost 6, I think it’s still 0-3 on all cards, but prevents 0 cost cards from costing 2-3.
I was so confused when I was started a weird modded daily run, my starting deck only three cards 1 unplayable and 2 0 cost cards that did nothing, I got a coldsnap from a floor 2 shop but my char only had 1 orb slot.
Later on with a Calculation Training and this orb I hadn't even heard of I survived through to the act 1 boss where defect destroyed my makeshift frost build... seems that 6 frost orbs and 3 focus isn't enough to survive dark orb unga bunga
