I'd say that there isn't just one way to do a good YTP. There are multiple ways to approach the making of one. For example, when I made a YTP, I mostly relied on sentence mixing and the occasional earrape, with some occasional repetitive gags. But that's the way I do it and plenty of other creators do not.
