The list of locomotives that I would love to be at the Throttle of are. UP 844 UP 3985 UP 4014 LNER 4472 flying Scotsman nickel plate road 587 nickel plate road 765 LNER 4468 MALLARD The fastest steam locomotive ever built 126 mph! there’s no way in hell that record will ever be beaten!
@@rudycarlson8245 well it most likely already has been, and probably will again soon. PRR T1 and S1 locos have been said to have gone well over 130 MPH. The t1 being built has a top speed of 140, and people are looking to break the record once it has been built
Must have been the experience of a lifetime to operate 765! I would love to go out to the CVSR and purchase a throttle time ticket in future. Thank you for sharing this, this video extremely interesting to watch an operation inside 765’s cab.
Awe man you got to drive the 765 that's an honor hopefully one day I'll be driving the Big Boy.

Super lucky too, If only I lived nearby or had the money to travel to it lol
Way to go! You've got a nice hand on that whistle lever too.
Thanks!

Oh this is awesome! So cool you got to drive 765!
Awesome video! Experience of a lifetime!
And I thought throttle time was a brand new experience this year. Didn’t know they had it back in 2019.
I want to bring back the Chessie Steam special I always loved that.
You lucky bastard! I wish I could do stuff like this!
My dude that’s so awesome!
Very nicely done there engineer Dillon. You are now qualified on Steam!
I missed my chance to buy a ticket for throttle time this year, but hopefully I’ll get it next year
How’d you manage to swing this?? That’s an amazing opportunity many would do anything for!!
I hope to operate #614 or #759
Where is the second whistle lever located? The deeper sounding one

Is this Nickel Plate Road 765?
Bonus: Whistle 00:20
Yes
How did the whistle blow by itself
Fireman's side whistle I believe.
There is a second lever above the fireman seat. Just like on some other locos including 4501, it has a rope tho
Next time you should do shave and a haircut XD
