I live in Seattle, and I freaking love it here. The Pacific Northwest is one of the most beautiful places I have ever laid my eyes on. The people here are great, Seattle brims with life, there's nature and serenity around every corner... I could keep going, but I'll stop here.

Matthew DragonBlade I live in Seattle, and I can vouch for the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Also, our weather patterns are very strange, unpredictable, and have a huge variety. There could be a heatwave, yet snow could still be expected the following day, and arrive promptly. But to be honest, after living here for so long, you get used to it, and it's actually quite enjoyable :)

Ughhhh, this takes me back so much. I fell in love with Owl City when I was 12...My best friend at the time introduced me to it. My life was so carefree then...Now I'm not friends with any of those people anymore and it feels like a lifetime ago. I'm 17 now, applying to college, but I still miss the times when I could chat with friends and fangirl about Adam Young. Haha, times change...

I remember liatening to this song in fourth grade, about six years ago, when it first came out. Hehe, me and my friends made a small parody of it back then...
Man, those were some good times. A little hazy now, but I remember it well... Things aren't like that anymore. Friends move, you lose contact with them, things don't always turn out great... I guess that's why I like this song so much. It brings me back to those old times. Without it, I would've probably forgotten by now...

Each move was like hitting a reset button, I would try to stay connected to friends but connections would be lost. Now they exist for me only in fading memory. HaloEliteLegend Yeah owl city brings back memories. Usually these songs remind me of 2010-past because those days were great. Its great memories when you remember you friends and fun times but it is sad when those days are gone. When all your favorite things you had during your childhood but then those things become old or obselte and eventually you have to say goodbye to friends, cars, computers, whatnot. Also around this time my Grandma was still alive and before 2006 my Grandpa was alive so this song brings back good and sad memories so Owl city makes me happy and sad. That's why I love Owl City. I remember all of these songs back in 09 and 08 but also 07. I miss these days a lot and I remember them just like yesterday.

I don't usually comment on videos, but there's just something so special about this song. Not to get too sentimental, but it brings something back--like seeing an old friend after years and the overwhelming urge to laugh and cry all at once. The military brought me up here to Seattle about a year ago. I was kinda sad when I saw that I was being forced to move here, but I must say, out of all the different states and countries I've visited or lived in, Seattle turned out to be one of the best cities I have ever been to! A city full of incredible people and even better views! You can't beat enjoying a steak from the Space Needle all while overlooking the sunset over the Puget Sound!

Once upon a time, I had a best friend that I did everything with. Years ago, we both were a part of our grade school's chorus, and we sang this song. I haven't always associated this song with them, but... recently we lost touch and now this song, like many things, remind me so completely of them. I don't know who said this, or where I read it, but it goes like this: "It's not the loss of a friendship that hurts, it's the flashbacks that come later that do." This song really reminds me of this.

I am going to college in a different state and about halfway through the semester, whenever I saw anything that reminded me of Seattle or Washington started making me feel really, really nostalgic and homesick. So now I am listening to this song whenever I get homesick, counting down until I get to go home for break.
It's crazy how something as simple as a song can bring back waves and waves of memories. On my first day of High School I met someone who would go on to become my best friend for years; she had just moved to my state from Seattle and always told me stories about it and we'd listen to this song (along with tons of other Owl City songs) in her room when I'd go to her house on the weekends. Nearly 10 years of friendship going strong.
