Mom told me she had a crash back in 1977, and right after the car had flipped and her friend had gone through the windshield, her other friend knocked out, this song started playing. All of them are alive and healthy.
When I was 14 years old in the 9th grade back in 1998, in my drama class, the teacher gave us an assignment/project to pick a song to lip sync to in front of the class. I had always loved this song so I decided that this was the song I was going to do. I got my mom to take me to a vintage clothing store and I bought an awesome 70's disco outfit to wear for my lip sync...white bell bottom pants, platform shoes, and a brown yellow and orange disco shirt with a big wide butterfly collar...When the day came and it was my turn to perform, I walked into the classroom in my disco outfit and started lip syncing and dancing to Staying Alive...the whole class went crazy...they loved it and my performance was voted everyone's favorite...needless to say I got an A, lol. I was nervous as heck to do it because I had always been really shy and quiet at school, but I'm so glad I did go through with it, I will remember it for the rest of my life. 😁

This is a song about serious love! Relatively rare, but oh so good! God Bless Dan Hill. A serious writer and singer like my husband. But neither professionally yet. I hope up and coming. But so old to discover these talents. 71 years old. May God help him!
This song is incredibly dark. It talks about a man who was abused and used in his youth and how he now uses womanizing, partying, and drugs as an escape from the things constantly nagging him in the back of his mind and consuming his life. He talks about how people shun and look the other way because of his reputation but that all the bad press are just rumors that only serve to further isolate him. I was tripping on lsd once when i listened to this song and it took on a new meaning. I began to weep because i had never connected to a song so much. Imagine what it was like to sing this confession of loneliness, this cry for help, to a crowd of people who dont understand.
"Now he's dead, anyone know what we do next? Wrong, check for an organ donor card. If he has one, we only have minutes to harvest. Gimme some ice and a styrofoam bucket." -Dwight Schrute
My brother taught me cpr and he sung this song in his head he actually saved an 80 year old woman from dieing one day he is a fire fighter and my granny has heart problems so someday I might save her
For those wondering, the musicians are lead vocalist-guitarist Barry Gibb, backing vocalist Robin Gibb, guitarist Alan Kendall, bass guitarist-backing vocalist Maurice Gibb, drummer Dennis Bryon, percussionist Joe Lala, and keyboardist Blue Weaver.
I know this sounds weird, but I am an introvert who likes going on walks and sitting in parks. Even though I am not an extrovert, I hate this lockdown.
There is a time in life when this song is required to be played out loud. One of them is being high on horse tranquilizer and making it to round 56 of nazi zombies with your pet cat at 5:00 A.M. on a school night.
There's only two things I think of when I hear this song: a fat cat walking in water on a treadmill and Michael and Andy singing along to this during the first aid class
Enhance You don't understand. There was a viral video of an overweight cat doing water exercises on an underwater treadmill that someone put this song to. It was pretty funny. And there was a show called "The Office" with two weird characters called Michael and Andy. When a woman came in to teach them CPR on a dummy, she suggested they do compressions to this beat, because it's very close to 100 beats per minute. But Michael and Andy started singing along and disrupting the whole thing. It was also pretty funny. Not sure what makes this depressing. Maybe he's not the one with a depressing imagination?
False. New music _seems_ like shit and old music _seems_ great because old music has had 30-40 years for all the best pieces- like this song- to float to the top, and for everyone to gradually forget the absolute garbage. Music today, being new, hasn't had the luxury of being filtered out by our memories. In the 1970s and 1980s, people would probably talking about how shit music was just as much if they had RUclips, not because they couldn't see how great the music they had then was- because a lot of the music they had _was_ shit. Conversely, in 40 years, people will be talking about how great 2000s and 2010s music was and how terrible 2040s and 2050s music is because they're only listening to thing like Imagine Dragons, Barenaked Ladies, and Rolling in the Deep. ...don't judge my tastes.
Disco had it all: hard beats, catchy melodies, energy, ACTUAL live professional orchestration and authenticity, as the musicians truly had to know their craft and the singers really had to know how to sing
Mom told me she had a crash back in 1977, and right after the car had flipped and her friend had gone through the windshield, her other friend knocked out, this song started playing.

Joelle Seiden I'm guessing a lot because this is the rythim (feel like I spelled it wrong) that u are supposed to perform hands only CPR which is about 100 chest compressions per minute
This is my walk in song to important business meetings. It helps to break the ice and gets everyone in a good mood or they are just laughing at me.

An Extremely Goofy Movie (2000)
Man: Goofy. I Warned You. YOU'RE FIRED!
I never get tired listening to this song. Its give me the inspiration and motivation to keep going when the going gets tough and tough gets going.
Flashback to 2010 listening to this which served as an inspiration to something I was writing then. Can't believe that with all the unnecessary deletions RUclips does, this is still here. Thanks for the wonderful times and great nostalgia!

This is a song about serious love! Relatively rare, but oh so good! God Bless Dan Hill. A serious writer and singer like my husband. But neither professionally yet. I hope up and coming. But so old to discover these talents. 71 years old. May God help him!
I listened to this song 2 days before I watched Ready Player One, and hearing this song felt like such a deja vu.
be careful that that deja vu isn't a sign were in the matrix.
"Ever get that feeling of deja vu" -Tracer (overwatch)
Why does Ultra Seven is here? I wonder that fact as a Japanese.
I think Ultra Seven is little older than Staying alive.
I did that too
Alex the Kaiju Fan I don't know about you but I loved Ready Player One
This song is incredibly dark. It talks about a man who was abused and used in his youth and how he now uses womanizing, partying, and drugs as an escape from the things constantly nagging him in the back of his mind and consuming his life. He talks about how people shun and look the other way because of his reputation but that all the bad press are just rumors that only serve to further isolate him. I was tripping on lsd once when i listened to this song and it took on a new meaning. I began to weep because i had never connected to a song so much. Imagine what it was like to sing this confession of loneliness, this cry for help, to a crowd of people who dont understand.
Don't ruin how upbeat this song is
i haven't read this comment, but i dont wanna because this song is fantastic
Did you just attempt to ruin this great song with your retarded comment.

"Now he's dead, anyone know what we do next? Wrong, check for an organ donor card. If he has one, we only have minutes to harvest. Gimme some ice and a styrofoam bucket."

The beat of this is is effective for CPR
@tu tu unwarranted aggression
@tu tu yeah
@tu tu maybe I am, but saying aggressive things for no justified reasons doesn't make you cool, if that is why you're doing it. It makes you cringey.
Works with some of *Taylor Swift's* songs, too!
Anyone else feel the need to strut?
Lol i do :-D
YES! ALL DAY LONG! lol

For those wondering, the musicians are lead vocalist-guitarist Barry Gibb, backing vocalist Robin Gibb, guitarist Alan Kendall, bass guitarist-backing vocalist Maurice Gibb, drummer Dennis Bryon, percussionist Joe Lala, and keyboardist Blue Weaver.

I just told someone I was built for lockdown. While everyone else freaking out about not going outside, I’m cool.
Coronavirus is the only time introverts get to shine!
That is randomly specific.
The book of when to use this song is a long one
Hey Billy Bob do you mind if I re use your comment
MattIanDuo depends how.
+Billy Bob Thorton's Pet Anchoive use it for vines
My mom told me about this song I loved it omg , that's what I call a beautiful song

Lol that was exactly how I heard it
#Relatable
Lol me too
lmao
Very accurate!
There's only two things I think of when I hear this song: a fat cat walking in water on a treadmill and Michael and Andy singing along to this during the first aid class
The Office was a great show
Enhance
You don't understand.

+FriendlyNeighborhoodDerp Oh
If this is played at a funeral someone clearly didn't follow step 1 of the song
***** I have those songs on my list as well. Only I have these 3 in a certain order...
Stairway to Heaven
Locked out of Heaven
Highway to Hell
The best and one of my favourite songs!!!
for some reasons classic songs are always better then new songs
Hell yeah! I'm 19 and I will choose the 70s and 80's music over this Selena Gomez bullshit music trend any day!
Why is 70-80's music so gooooddddddd
ghg XD360 allllllll the time
Naþan Ø Are you fricking high?!
Love you Kristina khatib for this song.
You can tell by the way I use my walk am a women's man.

ok don’t care.
Disco had it all: hard beats, catchy melodies, energy, ACTUAL live professional orchestration and authenticity, as the musicians truly had to know their craft and the singers really had to know how to sing
