Encore un ground sublime de Purcell, en "style brisé"... tellement bien interprété ! On aurait envie que cela ne s'arrête jamais. Quel magicien ce Purcell, quand on pense à la vie qu'il a vécue... il y a de quoi donner des leçons d'optimisme à tous les tristes sirs qui passent leur vie à se plaindre, et regretter des "époques révolues"... French refinement, rare, unique, delicate, and singular! the lutenist and singer are incomparably excellent! never seen anything like this! I understand that the singer is from Uruguay and may not be French - and perhaps the musicians hail from other lands as well, however my complement yet stands! 💐💐💐💐💐 Leandro's a winner w/ this gorgeous Purcell - what a complete thrill, and totally transcendent! Amazing counter tenor carrying Purcell's exquisite aria. Hmmm the French doing justice to an English composer.
Marziotti sounds on the money w/ his English - just the slightest touch of an exquisite accent (so exotic!) and true to the English form. his interpretation is the most enjoyable I've EVER HEARD!! This is one for the AGES!! the director is quite a master!! Highest commplements!
