Hi bit, I remember seeing you put a bg for one of your pixel arts and I just wanted to say, make sure bg values are lighter and have a lower range of values than your foreground character - you can check this by making your characters greyscale and observing the values. Not sure if you already knew this, but I just thought it was a little harsh on the eyes for that particular one that I saw. :) thanks for teaching us your ways, I’ll be sure to try out pixel art in the near future

ok guys. if you try to export it to like ur profile pic, it is tiny (not what she said). so when you do resize, it is blurry af. so here what u do. u go to resize, and it will say highest quality. change it to nearest neighbor. when you export it, it will be not blurry. i would export it to 1024x1024 as it is the best one for me
what i did is copy pasted my head in the template then selected a skin tone then filled the skin with it then i did the hue shifting thingy for the shading.

This is a very good video on Hue shifting, and Pixel art in general. One of my biggest pet peeves in pixel art is shading, color is so important.
