Way an absolutely perfect hunting experience! Thank you for taking us along on both yours and mine dream hunts! Great footage and such a beautiful place. Congrats to you, and one time I sure hope to get up to do the same in my lifetime!
Terrific hunt. I can only dream of as physically I can no longer attempt. I'm disabled and in bad shape. But as a hunter I live now for the videos like yours of the successful and some not. That's hunting! Thank you and well done congrats!
Great hunt Cody , My wife and I live your dream every day here in the Yukon, The taking of your animals is only a small part of what a true hunting experience is all about. I know that Kelsy will likely one day one up you as she usually does. Your video and commentary are great, we hunters know that the taking of the animal is secondary to the camaraderie you develop with nature and god all rolled up into a few days of beauty, not just in the land but with our beautiful and loving families.
Wow, just amazing how you can make a video and do it so well that I get emotional watching it! I GUESS its because its MY DREAM HUNT also! GOD bless you and your family! WELL DONE
This is in the Yukon, but for sure these hunts are not cheap...but when you add up the costs for the outfitters (bush plane airfare, allocations, guides, food, buildings, repairs, fuel, etc) no one is getting rich...they do it because they love it!
thank goodness for your camera man that you had to ask if it was a good angle and where to shoot... even tho you're the one shooting & already know where to shoot.. 😂😂 both once in a lifetime kills. great job.
1st off awesome hunts and great shooting, where do we as hunters draw the line between hunting for food or killing for gain and ego(I wrestle with this as well not picking on you) I love looking for big mule deer even when I don;t need the meat and that bugs me obviously watching your shows you can not eat all you kill just wondering if you have these same thoughts? do other hunters have them or is it a time when as we get older we remember all of our hunts and appreciate all the encounters we have had... all the best....
I live in Alaska and I struggle with that exact issue. To me, it shows that you truly value the animal. I want a grizz but have always passed up the chances due to the fact that they aren't great eating.
@@raymolegacyhunting9954 I agree that is a great thing to do but it does not address the reason we pursue the biggest best rack etc even when our freezers are full...
@@LIVE2HUNT Wow ok! I have a Savage .308 and I know it han take down anything with the right shot placement, but I assumed you were using something bigger than a .280. that's awesome man. Great Vid!
Such an awesome video! Makes me so jealous! I always wanted to hunt a moose that's like a dream! Carnt bring my self to hunt a bear but a moose is just a dream
nice video. You should consider a bit of footage showing that you pack out the meat otherwise a lot of heads are going to explode if they think you are just killing for the rack and the fur. We know that's not the case.
watched you trapsing after shocky fer years . boy have you come into your own and the video content is bettern the old stuff . family man now . filmmaker extrodinaire . humorist keep it up young man .and don,t work fer anyone but you
There is laws against waisting meat, and out of the places I have hunted Alaska is one of the most strick states. I don't think they make you take the brown/grizzly meat, but every thing else must come home with you. Wolf and brow) grizzly bear are hunted for management reasons.
He left there when he met mom an they moved to a place under mount edziza we lived there untill i was 14 8 hour hike to our place but we left it in 1981 but it was great area to hunt
Its Alaska, you dont want to cut anything if you dont have too. Its not going to spoil in less then 24hrs, im not sure if he ate it but grizzly isn't that bad and depending on where exactly he was there are strict laws against leaving the meat
It's really nice to see you showing so much respect for animals. So much respect that you have to kill them. How do you explain that to your kids? "Daddy saw a majestic animal in the Forrest today, and blew his fuckin' head off. Sweet dreams. See you soon".
This isn't fair, bear has no chance at all, that creature lived for 10+ years just to be shot by some dude with a mass produced gun he bought at dicks. An apex predator shouldnt be killed with such ease, it is disrespectful.
You're not familiar with Alaskan game law. If you harvest it, you are *required* to take all of the meat out before you even think about the head/antlers and hide. Alaska fish and game are very serious about this, and you do not want to screw up on it. It would be a very expensive mistake. That's what a lot of non-hunters do not get - yes, we enjoy the stalk, and we kill animals. The meat is a bonus. But the REAL work starts after the kill. Do you have any idea how much work it is for 2 people to skin and butcher an animal that weighs 1500 lbs or more? Then pack it all out?
Will RUclips yeah. They are beautiful creatures. And killing them isn’t wrong. Keeping populations under control so they don’t ruin the environment and killing them for food.
Which is you dream moose you said at the trappers cabin that was your dream moose and now ur saying this one is ur dream moose which his it bud seems it’s all for the sponsors 🙄oh and by the way get over it baby boy you win some a loose some that’s hunting but then again ur videos are around tv sponsors
If they are not killed, they will demolish the rest of the ecosystem...It is important to keep the population in balance. Obviously hes not hunting bald eagles.
$24,000 for a Moose and another $20,000 for a grizzly, So tell me who has that kind of money, the average hunter, I think not, your sponsors are paying. Sorry that's a sale out. To forget about a wife and childern who need to eat. Hmmmm!!!!!!
Those numbers are pretty steep. And what does it matter who pays? Wouldn't it be awesome for some one to foot the bill for what you love to do. Thanks to LIVE 2 HUNT, and their sponsors, for bringing money into Alaska and helping keep their economy viable up there!
Lots of people crave hunting. Gun happy? Yes guns are awesome. Darts? What are you from Peru? Yeah such a sucker for marketing products for a hobby so many people love.
Anyone can shoot at those distances, But wait until they are within a stones throw away, Then you can be scared stiff. But it's wrong to boast about any kill.
Why don't they stop drooling over each other and tell us the make and caliber of the rifles. That's the 1st thing the viewers want to hear and the last thing we ever get.
My favorite hunting show ever ,, Cody is a class act ,, may God continue to bless him and his family,,

Vraiment magnifique, bears, Moose, des images de chasse exceptionnelles.

Great video, super hunt. Congratulations. Just wondering what caliber rifle you were using?
.280 Remington in a Cooper rifle. Thank's for watching!
Those are both awesome animals. 👌
Incredible footage! Could you please tell me the type of gun you have and scope? I'm looking at purchasing a new one. Be appreciated!
It's a Cooper rifle in .280 with a Vortex scope!
Been researching Cooper. Heard of them just not sure of durability and consistency for shooting. Weight too.

Janet Kucera been researching Cooper very nice guns, really like them! I’m considering one. Thinking of Christensen Arms also. Tough decisions.
@@AKLivin. The Cooper's we have used have been incredible, no BS!

What caliber rifle did you on the bear
It was the same .280, thanks for watching!
That was a hell of a good shot!

These are in the Yukon with Ceaser Lake Outfitters!
You win some you lose some that’s why it is called hunting not killing
Lovely hunting 😍
Love that rifle what caliber is that
.280 Remington Cooper rifle!
Hi. What bullet and weight was it? Handloaded or factory? Thank you for the video!
Was it a 7 mm magnum used
.280 Remington on this one, but we use a 7 mm often.
@@LIVE2HUNT it seems like with 289 or 7 mm magnum you only need to fire twice at the most. I would say those are power house rounds.

I didn't realize we could bait anything else other than wolves here in the Yukon.
You cannot, but bait does not include "parts of legally taken wildlife not reasonably suitable for human consumption that are left at the kill site"
Whenever you watch a hunt, you can count on at least five minutes of company sponsors no one has heard of or cares about.
Really nice moose
Just amazing
The Yukon is amazing!
