Kuya Fern, kakaluto ko lang po neto ngayon at promise sobrang sarap nya! For me, mas masarap kung sugar instead of honey. Nakaluto din po kasi ako ng ganito, honey yung gamit and walang ginger. Sobra sobrang tamis ng honey. Eto okay lang. Promise masarap po!

I suggest to use more garlic (I used 3 cloves and also about tbsp of crushed garlic - it turned out so flavorful). Also, use less flour (I only used 1 cup but there's so much leftover which I had to throw away due to contamination from chicken)

I did use cornstarch here 0:33 I'm using ingredients that I'm familiar with and are readily available at my local place :) haven't tried using gochujang yet.. but if I do try it and it suits my taste and is available here, then I'll add it to my list of ingredients to be used :) please like and share :)

you could but.. the salty flavor from crispy fry would be too much for this recipe coz soy garlic sauce would add more saltiness.. so using cornstarch and flour would give you more flexibility in determining the saltiness of the fried chicken.. 😊😉
It's okay.. I just use fish sauce for added umami and since it's already in liquid form, it's easier for it to penetrate the meat faster than salt.. 😉😊You could use salt.. just adjust so it won't be too salty.. 😉😊 you can do this.. hope you enjoy.. thanks a lot.. 😁😁

hindi naman po.. ung kasabihan po na nahihilaw ang suka pag hinalo agad.. ay dahil ang suka po noong dati ay yung mga "natural" na suka.. pero ung mga "processed" na suka po ngayon ay wala nang ganung issue tulad ng dati.. 😉😊
baka ung fish oil na tinutukoy nyo po ay fish sauce o patis.. ung patis po kase pangpalasa sa manok bago iprito.. kung nakalimutan po un, wag nyo na po ilagay sa soy garlic sauce ung patis kase sobrang aalat na po un..

You can strain the flour and use it for next time. Preferably the next day or two.

you could but.. the salty flavor from crispy fry would be too much for this recipe coz soy garlic sauce would add more saltiness.. so using cornstarch and flour would give you more flexibility in determining the saltiness of the fried chicken.. 😊😉

It's okay.. I just use fish sauce for added umami and since it's already in liquid form, it's easier for it to penetrate the meat faster than salt.. 😉😊You could use salt.. just adjust so it won't be too salty.. 😉😊 you can do this.. hope you enjoy.. thanks a lot.. 😁😁

hindi naman po.. ung kasabihan po na nahihilaw ang suka pag hinalo agad.. ay dahil ang suka po noong dati ay yung mga "natural" na suka.. pero ung mga "processed" na suka po ngayon ay wala nang ganung issue tulad ng dati.. 😉😊
