What is Multiple Sclerosis ❓
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a potentially disabling disease of the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system). In MS, the immune system attacks the protective sheath (myelin) that covers nerve fibers and causes communication problems between your brain and the rest of your body. Eventually, the disease can cause permanent damage or deterioration of the nerves. Signs and symptoms of MS vary widely and depend on the amount of nerve damage and which nerves are affected. Some people with severe MS may lose the ability to walk independently or at all, while others may experience long periods of remission without any new symptoms. There's no cure for multiple sclerosis. However, treatments can help speed recovery from attacks, modify the course of the disease, and manage symptoms.

What you speak of in your video I agree. It is hard when the medication I used to get is not available for already 5 months and there is no point on the horizon, end of the tunnel or date when that medication I depend on wil be available again.
I still meditate daily. Place thatbugly thought on a cloud and let it flow passed me. Unfortunately the cloud circles back to me at times.
It is helpfull to hear you talk about the simple things one can be thankful for. I am thankfull to whatch your posts and give me support to go on to look for the positive little things in my life.
Thank you, you give me hope and strenght to look for life.
The cloud that you speak of is the dark passenger that we have to learn to live with and politely ask it to not make too much noise. Instead, try to fill the space with the sweet melody of gratitude 🤗😅

Seb, I use the GEM principle ( Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness) in my everyday life. Sometimes it’s hard, especially when I’m having a bad MS day. It’s easy to dwell in misery, but using the GEM helps stay positive.
That sounds like a wonderful approach 🤗🧡
Beautifully said Seb.
🤗🧡
I'm glad that you're feeling optimistic and positive. That's really hard sometimes. Thanks for sharing this message.
Thank you for listening 🤗🧡
Great Seb !!!!That's the attitude!!!!
It's more comforting to think that "life gives the hardest battles to the strongest soldiers"
Perspective Seb. Always take perspective into account.
My personal way of expressing gratitude every day is by saying:
"Amanece, que no es poco".
Keep on going sweetie.
Peace.❤
Grateful that the sun rises every day and brings light into our lives! 🤗🧡
Gratitude is a powerful thing! Yet easy to neglect. I don't think there'e anything wrong with codependence, though, as long as the partners are equal and practice mutual respect. True independence doesn't exist for anyone, imo, unless you live alone in nature and live off the land! Unfortunately most people don't recognize all the people and systems that make their everyday lives and sense of self-determination possible, which makes it easy for non-disabled folks to view ill or disabled folks with pity. But imo codependence should be recognized as the standard way virtually everyone actually lives.
That is a very interesting point you’re making! Thank you for bringing this up, I’ll definitely keep it in mind 🤗🧡
Gratitude is so powerful. Today I am grateful for you!!
Thank you dear, and I for you and all the wisdom you share!! 🙏🏻🧡
Good point because ms can be so depressing if you just focus on all those symptoms. My wife who is a nurse who deals with cancer patients and patients who have ALS tells me ms is not fatal so live and enjoy life😂😂
Exactly!! 🙏🏻🧡
"You don't get that many Sundays in life." 🤔 Surely life has the same number of Sundays, as any other day? 🤣
Hahaha fair point, but there’s nothing particularly enjoyable about a Tuesday, of which you in turn also don’t get that many. They’re more like days you just want to pass, while Sundays are days you never want to end! 🙏🏻🧡
@@LifeofSebMS I hated Sundays as a kid! ... As an adult, I'm more tolerant! ... It was always the "religious" aspect of Sunday's that put me off, and that the shops used to be closed!
EDIT: This particular Tuesday WAS enjoyable for me! Here in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 we have government bonds, called "Premium Bonds" and I won a prize on mine! 👍🤣
@marcse7en hahaha congrats! I know what you mean about the religious aspect and shops closing… I also find it quite off-putting, but today being older I like how it forces me to retreat and sit in peace with myself 😌🧡
@@LifeofSebMS I like the sound of "retreating" and "sitting in peace." Also, I think that not being particularly religious, can lead some people to judge you as a bad person, particularly "Bible Thumpers!"
@marcse7en reinterpreting the words of a wise man: if you can’t sit with yourself, how in the heck are you going to sit with somebody else? 😅🧡
I thankful for everything a have even for this illness that I am going through (EVERYTHING HAS A REASON) ❤
Yes!! 🙏🏻🧡
I’m not gay, however, I like you. I find you quite attractive.
Thank you Patrick 🤗🧡
Hi sir! I am a health anxiety freak when i read about ms systoms i started experiencing them. What i noticed... 2 months ago when i was walking down the stairs i noticed my legs are shaking when i hit a certain position (Note : since from my childhood i have this shaky hands sometimes when i reached out for a hot coffee and also recovered from GBS) and from last 5 days i seen my nerves are beating like heart and they go away after one sec... from past 2 days i am experienceny itchy feeling all over my body ( they go a

As if you had ants crawling underneath your skin 🙏🏻🧡
Go to a neurologist to make sure everything is good and by doing so your anxiety would calm down
That's the spirit. That's exactly the way i go in life despite MS. It makes life so much easier. You seam more relaxed recently. But don't get to relaxed and stop making video's because your channel and content comes clearly from the heart. You are awesome 😊
Thank you Peter!! No no, not stopping, just reaffirming my commitment to spreading joy 🤗🧡
Gratitude is so important! It’s easy to be overwhelmed with all the difficulties and restrictions we have, but we should be greatful and positive for all the wonderful things we have in our lives.
I’m greatful for you brother 👊🏻🧡
It’s of the essence, no less! There may be things we’re not so happy about, but then there’s plenty of other things that we should be, we just need to acknowledge them! Like the fact that it allowed me to get in contact with someone like you brother!! 💪🏻🧡
C'est vraiment très jolie tout ce que tu viens de dire ta déclaration est magnifique est très positif même si parfois c'est pas toujours facile ❤
Merci 🤗🧡
I always remember that the distance between me and this person is luck
