  • 2019 Snow storm made for some slippery road conditions and left Maritime motorists stranded. But with the aid of my mighty (modded) Jeep KJ, some people are lucky to get back home or get to work on time and stay dry during these conditions.

    i dont recommend crawling up under their vehicles to retrieve the tow strap while they have it in reverse or in drive or even while their still behind the wheel of the car. they could start moving the vehicle and crush you

    I loved my KJ. Put Lokka lockers in it and a decent set of tires and it would pull. Good for you.

    What were you using to tow/mount/drings? I have a 2010 Liberty and cannot find the recovery points for a mount.

      The rear just has a trailer hitch with a shackle mount in it. The front was attached to the frame utilizing the slots in the frame rails by 4 grade 8 bolts fastened in a double shear fashion 😏 My new bumper is mounted the same way but I added 2 more to handle the stress of a winch 👌

    What bonnet n grill you got mate? Sorry sorry i mean hood and whatever ya call a grill haha

    • @kjay2638
      @kjay2638  5 лет назад +1

      That's the bonnet and grill combo that comes stock on the "Rocky Mountain" and "Renegade" models of the 05-07 KJ's, they aren't as common anymore but I like the flat hood and tall grill cause it looks more manly then the bubbly bonnet/grill design lol. Mine is the only one in my area as far as I know 😅

    • @kjay2638
      @kjay2638  5 лет назад +1

      At the time of this video I had a daystar 2.5" lift with 245/75R16 Roadcruza RA3200 M/T's....as of now tho, I have a 3" OME suspension lift with 31×10.5×15 Deep Digger M/T's

      2005 Jeep Liberty 3.7 l V6 it has a 3-inch lift how hard was it to fit 31s in

    • @kjay2638
      @kjay2638  5 лет назад

      @@colenveneau9849 Hasn't hard, you need atleast 3" of lift, (but you'll have that already) and some offset rims. I'm using 15" aftermarket rims from a Ford ranger, same bolt pattern and 2" offset from our stock rims which spaces my tires from the hub without the use of wheel spacers. That'd be you're best bet! 😜
