dude, I was literally JUST rewatching the video on Rarran's channel where he (as a hearthstone player) tried to guess how good shadowverse cards are with you as a guest and I was searching for more content like it!!
regarding Bond Forger, the other reason he was good is bcos the deck has a gameplan of fullfilling a quest that can give you a spell that uberbuffs your 1pp followers (+4/+4, Ward, and can't be destroyed by effects). so if you gather enough of that spell and Bond, it will be an OTK the deck also plays somewhat aggro-ish so you're not very defenseless early like most pure combo decks
4:22 I think you could have explained that, a Neutral 3 Mana spell that Destroys a follower and deals 2 to the enemy face, was printed before this card, and only saw play in decks that really wanted the burn damage. So an evo point for a destruction that gets blocked by Ward and only leaves a 3/3 is questionable Also Checkmate is such an evil card to give, when you don't know how Chess works
Kinda evil to pick cards that require extra context to understand how good/bad they are. Bond was mostly good because of Castelle buffing them for otks. Also, i'm pretty sure people played the first spell in Cutthroat decks, was it good? Not really but definitely something to consider unlike actual garbage like Altaia that it's just an arena card
Fallen angel blessing wasn't really played in cutthroat, cutthroat was just so open you can put anything in it but it's still not good it doesn't synergize with enhance at all Fallen angel blessing is just an arena take two cars which honestly it's a pretty good take two card
I mean, the fun of it is having the guest have next to no knowledge or completely know nothing about the game. Having previous knowledge due to playing/knowing Evolve sort of defeats the entire idea of this kind of content.
This niche is peak card game content.
