Omgggg I loooooove Real Time w/ Tracey 🧡🧡🧡 My small nail beds are a nightmare 🙃 Woooooow Kiera’s hands 😍😍 Nails lookin so good! * *chefs kiss* * I have definitely been severely cut by a file I didn’t season 😵💫 Bruh Ultimate Finish is KING! It’s the best to sugar glitter & now seeing it w/ holo I’m like 😍😍😍😍 #1! I loooooooooooove it ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Obsessed!!
As a “nail client” (I’ve been doing my own nails for almost 3 years now, though.) I always feel a little “put in my place” when Tracy is doing nails and shares her expectations of the client.😂 Not that it’s a bad thing, because I feel expectations of customers are important in any business. I just know that I’ve gone to the bathroom once or twice, I’ve definitely played with my hair, and may have even answered a call while getting my nails done a time or ten.😂 But they never complained. Probably because I love to tip them their worth and I also know I can be a little picky about my nails. This is why I now do my own.💗
So at this time I only do nails on myself. I noticed online there is a safety bit right and a safety bit left. I'm using both of my hands to file off product so which do I buy or do I have to buy both?
Yes, those bits have the grooves made to go in a specific way. If you are working on yourself, you would want to get both. If you get our coarse safety bit, it's made to work in both directions and you can use that for both hands without switching out bits.
I’ve got a question. What if you have a client that has come in for a fill each time, and the c curve is slowly getting flatter each time? Would you recommend them being taken off and a fresh set put on, or just keep doing just the fill?
When you are doing almond/stiletto/coffin shaped nails, you will need to clip off the free edge and re-sculpt the nails every so often to put that tight c-curve back in.
Yes. I thought maybe in the second layer she will focus more on the cuticle area but she didn’t even put a second coat. Obviously doing holo don’t require 2 coats but in that case I personally will make sure that only gel layer is perfect in cuticles and sides area.
When you apply any artificial product (acrylic, gel, gel polish, or traditional polish) you do need to leave a slight space between the product and the cuticle for it to adhere properly to the nail and not get lifting. When you see nails done on video, it looks farther away than it really is because of the camera magnification.
Thank you for doing this set! 😱 they are gorgeous! What's the link for the chrome, I've bought chrome from Amazon before and I was *not* impressed. Could it have been user error? Definitely maybe. Thanks again
As long as you apply Protein Bond, you do not need to cap the free edge. Our gel polish will adhere well to the filed surface with Protein Bond. Some people like to cap the edges for a more finished look, but it is not necessary.
If you are asking about washing before polishing, we recommend just using your manicure brush to dust them off and cleanse with Swipe rather than having them wash. Washing (even just rinsing with water) can add excess moisture to the nail and if not cleaned off properly, can lead to polish chipping. After the service is complete, they can then wash their hands if needed.
Have you all done a video doing from cover pink to an ombre without clipping all the nail down? Awesome job Tracey! Im working in a salon down and have had to change how I do nails to their way instead of the way you taught me. It's weird to me
I was so confused for a minute when she was putting on the rose oil. I was thinking dear lord is she putting on protein bond thinking it's rose oil?? Then realized it was just a mini rose oil lmao. The brush looks exactly like the protein bond brush!
Yes, Please email ray@youngnails.com or check out the LEARN tab on the top left of our website for more information on our upcoming zoom classes. Must be 18+ for classes.
I have started having my gel not last on me or my gel manis either. I am not a trading tech, I have had training from techs when I was going to use it with my previous job but had no problem for years with gel overlays. I unfortunately had to stop using Gel Bottle as the health issues happened and I I am unsure if the skin reaction I had was the product or jot and that was the best one I found for my nails personally. Nothing has ever compared but I would not go back for obvious reasons... am I to try getting used to acrylic? I would keep my nails short and mani them but even my gel polish won't last. I don't understand it but I am concerned the aforementioned gel damaged my nail beds? Am at a loss... my nails aren't strong naturally and that's why I used gel to strengthen anyway and don't knownwhat to do now. Please help! Lovely job, I have loads of holo here I want to use again but I can't get anything to not lift! X
Make sure your prep is spot on and you might want to check out the new Fiber Gel in bottle that's coming out on Black Friday sale. It's for natural nails, has keratin and no base needed.
I REALLY wish you would do a real time for a Gel Fill, for clients that don't have the perfect nailbeds, that have wrecked cuticles, that have lifting, that don't have the flexible hands and are always "stiff". There is no way to do a fill this quickly (especially with Gel) on clients with all the mentioned issues. I really want to see how you address them in real time, as I have about 5 clients with nails like the ones you worked on. I can't use acrylic in the (hair) salon I work because of smell, I get the focus on speed, but this just isn't reality, at least not for me.
Poor Tracey she is always on auto pilot in these videos she repeats the same thing's every time she does real times probably because it's so annoying to have to talk and work with a timer on you. Talk about stressful lol
Tracy is a super nice person but as a nail tech it's always awkward watching her work bc she nervously non stop talks, always preludes with excuses 'first three nails don't count...client secrets coming out that she polished nails so makes her work harder and there is nothing relaxing for anyone as she frantically works every step of the way. Take a few deep breaths and calm down like master nail tech Greg and super chill Melissa.
We have dust collectors available on our website. Her cuticles weren’t too bad, but Tracey is really good about doing fills in 30 mins anyway. We use our e-file instead of cutting cuticles.
You guys do the most amazing nails.
And I love what you do for all of us nail lovers thank you.
Love the real times! Would love to see a real time in gel. Maybe a fill and shape change (going from almondetto to coffin?) Or vice versa 🤔
Yay more Real Times with Tracy! This look is such a nice fall to winter transition. She's still just as fast and that's true goals right there.
Love how the nails turned out 👏👏👏and Tracy is right, those nailbeds are to die for 😍💅
Aww thank you! 😊
Missed seeing Tracy do nails. That holo is stunning!
Agree. I miss Tracy at the nail table as well
Glad you brought these back. Miss Tracy real time videos
Same. Lovely while cooking for my family 😊
Love seeing Tracey doing nails again! These are beautiful!!!!
Wow Kiera’s natural nails are so pretty! 😍 & the final look is a winner Tracey! I’m definitely trying this 💜

I’d call it champagne bubbles!! Love the set!
Great video. You still have it. Thank you for sharing this beautiful design.

Love this. Going to try it with Rose Quartz since I don’t have champagne 101. Loved the tip about only curing Finish for 30 seconds. Thank you!
It's amazing watching you work Tracey 😍
Love it. Love watching you work tracie💯♥️

Beautiful holiday nails
Yeey I miss her doing this❤️🥰
Ooohhhh they're gorgeous 😍
oooooh! I can do this one! I have holo pigment. 😁 This would also look amazing over an icy blue base!
I just got Chanpagne 101 with my Black Friday order....OMG the camera does NOT do this color justice...so pretty
Hello, beautiful work like always guys you are great and thank you so much for sharing 😊👏👏👏👏👏👆👆🌹🌹🌹🌹💅💅💅💅
Yasss i seen tracy on the show credits and i was cheering. i thought about putting hyping her up on my ig stories & tagging her but I didn’t lol!
We love Karen and Melissa but real time with Tracy is OG🥰
I want these! Definitely ordering some champagne 101 during the next sale!

Great tutorial, you make it look so easy and fast!!! Beautiful set... Can you please share the link to Amazon for the chrome powder. Thnx
There isn’t a specific powder. Tracey was just mentioning you can get holo powder from amazon. Any one you would like.
how are you always painting the nails so far from the cuticle? new nails look like they're a week old >.
Yes. I thought maybe in the second layer she will focus more on the cuticle area but she didn’t even put a second coat. Obviously doing holo don’t require 2 coats but in that case I personally will make sure that only gel layer is perfect in cuticles and sides area.
@@caroltoledogorra8073 absolutely. For the prices they charge, nails are not that good🤷🏻♀️

@@youngnailsinc yeah, a slight space (i know the products can't touch the cuticle) but this is way too much. out of salon and ready for a retouch >.
CAn you please do a video on doing gel overlays for the natural nails? Are they good for long nails, do they protect them, ect?
ruclips.net/video/cRXec7iLOK8/видео.html
Tracey use your dust collector, girl if I had one I’ll use it all the time.
Thank you for doing this set! 😱 they are gorgeous! What's the link for the chrome, I've bought chrome from Amazon before and I was *not* impressed. Could it have been user error? Definitely maybe.
Thanks again
You can use any chrome powder on amazon. There isn't a specific link.
I notice that with the gel polish and topcoat there was no capping of the edges. Is it not always necessary to cap?
Don't need to with YN product:)
@@carmieanderson3593 They always say to cap
As long as you apply Protein Bond, you do not need to cap the free edge. Our gel polish will adhere well to the filed surface with Protein Bond. Some people like to cap the edges for a more finished look, but it is not necessary.
Could have them wash without soap? Just rinse off the dust?

35 minutes!!? How😭 It takes me 2 hours 💀😭

What are your steps for prepping the natural nails? Also, if your natural nails are thin/damaged, acrylic would work better on them than hard gel.
What grit arbor band during removal by cuticle please? Thx.
150 grit
I want to do chrome 😭😭
🤙🏾🤗
im kind of surprised you didnt do more to her cuticles
Typically we don’t recommend cutting cuticles. Pushing back and using an e-file to clean up usually does the job.
Can you link the amazon product please?
It's not a specific product, Tracey was just stating that you can find holo powder on amazon.
@@youngnailsinc ok thank you
Please do this in gel ❤
First! Watching!
Wow! So fast Tracy!! Great work!

Just the cuticles could take 15 min alone 🥴
I love gel a whole set take me one hour and I’m new at it
I preffer polygel/acrygel ..its way faster work than with runny gel:)
