This video is well timed! I've been planning to make a battle axe for my son, but wasn't sure on material or how to make it sturdy. Now I know what to do. 😆 Thanks!
Fantastic! And I must give you the super high five on the Ray Bones Rodriguez symbol for your icon! Bones Brigade all the way baby! I rode that model when I skated!
@@BlackSheepProps Awesome! Its cropped from a pic of my actual Deck. It's a re-release and I'm trying to get back into it...carefully. lol I had the Steve Caballero model back in the day. White with red bats and orange dragon. Bones Brigade videos were the best!
That’s too wild - I also rode a Caballero. The very first model - orange deck with the yellow creature sitting on the ball bearing. Never forgot those days.
Hi! For really thick pieces that require a bandsaw, you can cut several copies of the piece using an exacto knife on thinner foam and contact cement them all together to get the thickness you need. It can require slight clean up around the edges though if they are not perfectly lined up at the edges. Unfortunately, sometimes it can only be done with large heavy equipment. I picked up a bandsaw for about $120 and it was well worth it due to how many builds I was doing. Some bandsaws are as cheap as $100.

Thanks Peter!
What do you suggest for people who dont have access to band saws and other heavy equipment?

@@BlackSheepProps ok thank you. I’ll look into one of those cheaper bandsaws
It was the best money I spent. I used it like crazy after I got it. Super must if you’ll be making a lot of stuff.
