I am so Glad someone won a Classic in a TIN BOAT.
So TY for that.
Looks awesome Jason! Can’t wait to see you back out there this year. Be awesome to see a back 2 back Classic winner
Best of luck this season.
Soooo, are you going to explain the boat switch or leave us to assume the obvious?
How much you wanna bet Yamaha offered him a bigger incentive to run a Skeeter than a Express? That’s probably exactly what happened but either way it was a good switch.
Just want to hear Jason say it.
Skeeter doesnt have the best incentives for the weekend worrier i do run a 07 zx225 but im sure they paid him big. And also skeeter is the best riding boat out there period.
He does not have to explain anything lol
I bet you what it was, is that he probably felt like it so he did
Would you still recommend Xpress boats?
Holy shit Batman!!! Welcome to the Skeeter team “unbelievable” what a major switch
Okeechobee gonna be here before you know it. Ready to ride along. Good Luck JC
Congrats on the new ride!
Thanks!
Awesome boat Jason good luck this season 👍
Welcome to the family bro! You will love the Skeeter
What the heck?! I sure enjoyed you in an Xpress!
I would love to here jc talk about the switch, cuz that express he been riding is an awesome boat
$$$
as if anybody really needs to ask ,what it comes down to...
Sweet looking ride...welcome to the Skeeter family!
Happy to see you in a skeeter good luck this year!
Welcome to the skeeter family. Good luck on your next classic 2023
Told ya last year you would want back in a glass boat. I made that mistake myself. I am currently in a metal rig. Gonna try to sell it in next couple weeks.
Glad to see you back in a fiberglass
I guess this is the announcement that you are now running a Skeeter in '23. I love it.
Cool boat color, that will sell at the end of the year😉 with so little battery weight I’m curious how that may affect things, prop etc. Let us know please.
Kinda sad was really hoping to see the new Xpress setup 🥴
I like your new boat. It's sharp looking. I had heard you were going with a Skeeter they are good riding boats. Now we need an AOY Championship! Keep up the good work and great teaching
Thank you!
Dang good looking boat!!
Christie on the team
Surprised no one has said anything about the two livescope setup.
Will be interesting to see who all does this.
Off to get that bad boy flashed and it will be complete
Awesome boat Jason always dream of owning a new Skeeter
Welcome to the family
Holy smokes. Leaving xpress. Good choice to leave for for sure
you left express??????? i liked the express this is sad
Sweet
Sweet!!!!! Good luck this year and rip some lips!!!!
Didnt know you had made the switch to skeeter
Why did you not do xpress again
Looks good and good fishing 🎣
Sweet man
Curious on the performance of that FXR with all the weight removed from the back. Heard a lot of people say they are slow with no weight in the back because they lose the lift in the front and run flat? Are you going to show how it runs?
What a pretty boat color, what a shame to wrap it. Thanks Jason.
That is a super cool color scheme. Are those custom picked or was that a color package?
Color package
a little different ride than the Xpress😊
The Xpress had a good run.
Oh and by the way, can you cut me a good deal on that old Express. It’s got good karma on it!
Jason, do you just run 1 36 volt lithium or do you have 2 36 volt lithiums run in parallel so you have a backup? Thanks and good luck this season!
1 12 and two 36s
I was wondering why you went back to Fiber glass? After talking up that aluminum boat
We’re all wondering the same lol
More money I guess
@@shanehamilton6708 that's a good guess
@@shanehamilton6708 oh I am sure after using that ffs and winning the classic he’s like who got the biggest check book
Doesn’t Yamaha own skeeter and xpress? So it shouldn’t be that big of a difference in sponsorship money.
WHAAAAT!!!! HELL YEA ......about time you dump the tin crap and ride like a true classic champion!
Sweet boat. That 65ah 36v is enough juice even in crazy wind and current? I saw John Crews has the same battery setup.
I’m curious also about the battery setup.
Uh oh , Aluma weld X Press must have broke , cracked ?
Would like to know what happened w Xpress?? I mean 2 yrs an changing again...
I am jealous.
Great looking ride. Hope you smash them
@JasonChristieFishing Do you use the perspective mount on your trolling motor or mount it regularly?
Primarily forward view
Hate to see you not running xpress anymore.
Someone Asked. Money Money and Money is the Reason for the Switch to Skeeter. Welcome Home!
None of us work for free so I get it. There are some interviews online with guys that are at the last quarter of their career and some of them say they left a lot of money on the table throughout the years. I say get it while you can.
You going to run livescope and perspective mode up front?
They will both be in forward view
So 2 livescopes. You can run 2 livescopes at the same time, is there interference issues? Or is it more of a Redundance thing. Wow, that’s a lot of coverage. Ain’t know one hiding from you! Very nice, dam I want to win the lottery.
Very little interference if any at all
The wiring and lithium batteries cut 95% interference.
But you won the Classic in an Xpress!
For the first time in forever (55 years) the classic was one in a tin rig kind of hoping it would happen again but 🤷 love the new boat skeeters look really cool,
@@tnbassmaster Yeah, can't blame him. But I'm superstitious. I would've ran it back with the Xpress.
That Skeeter is so fine
Why the transition to Skeeter?
What made you only do with one 12 volt battery for starting and electronics?
It’s all about the money, if they offer more money Fisherman will go there. Unless he gives us an explanation???? Which no one ever knows because the pros don’t tell us whether it is because they wanted a boat for certain reasons or if it’s because money… wish they would be honest about it… it’s like Scott Martin, one week he raved about how the ranger rides, then the next week he raved at how the skeeter is the best ride boat, which is true??
He told you clearly without saying it that this is a business. It’s a hobby for most of us but when it’s business you make it while you can. I honestly don’t listen to pros of any level if they are pushing a product or service if they get a piece of the pie. Advertising is part of their job but you have to take it ALL with a grain of salt.
@@JB-ms9du what was his reason for leaving xpress and going to skeeter? What minute in the video. Please post it below and I’ll check it out.
@@JB-ms9du as a xpress buyer, I would like to know why he no longer likes xpress. Was it the ride? Cracks in the hull? Compartments getting wet. I’d like to know that!
@@BassboatJoe no my bad I was saying Scott Martin basically said it’s a business when he raves about Ranger the goes to Skeeter…same thing with JC.just business
@@BassboatJoe I’d like to know as well but I doubt those were factors. Xpress went to larger gas tanks and white live wells and I think those were JC suggestions. I just can’t see it being anything other than money. He would have never won at Sabine if he were in a glass boat so 🤷♂️
I will never understand why you 4 or 5 screens on their boat??
Because all the others guys have that advantage, too. If he didn’t run all those graphs like everybody else then he would be at a disadvantage. When you are competing for your livelihood(and family’s)and career then you don’t purposefully put yourself at a disadvantage. I don’t like it myself but I understand why they all run spaceships these days.
I think I will just stick with the 2 I have. One on the council one on the bow.
each have a specific purpose to make the job easier and efficient-it's all about being the most productive in the amount of time on the water
Just WOW. Elephant is literally sitting next to you and nothing??? No Xpress and No BassTank install????
Integrated boat works was started by bass tanks installer
I'm aware. Soukup vs. Christie????
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
That thing is so sexy #dreamboat
