EPISODE 7: "The Choreographer" - Drew Silvaggio
Dance is an essentially component to opera and musical theater, and of course we can't forget it's literally what everything revolves around in ballet! Drew Silvaggio is the owner of the San Luis Obispo Academy of Dance and he is the Artistic Director of Civic Ballet Theater San Luis Obispo. He has also been the Principal Choreographer of Opera San Luis Obispo since 2013. The relationship between OperaSLO and Civic Ballet SLO has been a strong and collaborative friendship and we are excited to share how it all comes together year after year.
