This guy was right on the money. I purchased a used L3940 this summer and as it got colder it became very hard to start, cranking a long time to finally start when it was 40 degrees outside temps. The glow plug dash light would come on for the prescribed length of time. So, I tested the top of the glow plugs with a screwdriver type voltage light tester and there was no voltage. I ordered the relay he showed in his video, put in in and the L3940 fired right up in 35 degree weather. Thank You SIR!!!

Hey Miles....glad the video helped you get your Kubota back running tip top. I think Kubota has an awesome tractor and they did correct the relay issue, just wish they would have told their dealers about the issue

I’m sure it was bad but it’s hard for me to believe it was cold enough outside with green grass and green leaves on the trees that it was cold enough for you to even need the glow plug

If you're saying it looks to warm when I am making the video it is. I replaced the relay earlier and was just showing how to replace the relay, hope that clears up your question. I do always use the glow plug even when the weather is warm, it doesn't hurt anything

Do you not realize the assembly line guys installed the wrong relays in many of these tractors? Also check the one for the injection pump solenoid.
