Chinese professors in American universities always give U.S. taxpayer-funded scholarships to Chinese students who came straight from China, whose parents and grandparents have never paid taxes to the IRS. These Chinese students get to attend American universities and graduate for free, while American students have a apply for loans that cripples their personal finances for life.
U.S. taxpayer-funded scholarships should be given only to students who were born and raised in America.
Which US tax funded scholarships are granted by professors? Most scholarships that I've seen are privately funded and the people that set those up can choose whatever rules they want to. I thought that US scholarships are in the form of grants which I'd think would be a function of admissions or the bursar.
@@movdqa University professors obtain funding from the *United States government* for doing research, and that is American taxpayer money. Chinese professors used part of those funds to bring Chinese students to America to do their master and doctoral studies while doing research for the Chinese professors.

Juneteenth is a very Special Time in United States History.
As a retired history teacher, I took great pride in constructing and offering my version of US History during February's Black History Month.
I set aside the text and conducted daily lectures from the History books and journals authored by black historians. Factual. I was willing to face termination by circumventing school district curriculum in order to tell the true story of black history articulated by black historians. Such as comparing the Black Panthers of yesteryear to today's movie line and not only the blood line of blacks but the great yet hidden amazing accomplishments of blacks.
I brought all my books into my classroom for the students to check out as each was given an assignment to read and write a summary of the book they read due before March 1.
The exam was constructed from my lectures. All students were offered note-taking lessons as well and were permitted to use their notes during the exam.
The surprise by most of the students were accompanied by their joy of finally learning Factual historical events actors by black historians and ancestors of the race.

The joy in a child face when they learn is priceless. That's why you do that job. I'm glad to know some teachers still have that motivation.

Regrettably, talking heads will not move the needle on this discussion about affirmative action, racism, reparations and many 'entitlements' desired by African Americans. Freedom is a job - something to be revered and used wisely. In 2023, Americans cannot discuss the racial issues without reactively confronting the constituent parts of it. Respect is earned, not bestowed.
I think a 3rd party candidate can draw the republican vote towards the issues, then they can clearly see how,manageable these next 12 years has to be.

The only problem w/Juneteenth is that only black men were free. Ulysses Grant upheld their right to vote but women were denied such right. Therefore the women were not actually free because she had no voice. Distorted Holiday not buying all the hype!

Chuck Todd is fair, and he doesn't try to create news. His conversations are natural and you understand that political discussions with politicians aren't going to create news. She forces news instead of it coming naturally, and it just comes off as tacky. I'll stop watching when Chuck Todd completely severs ties with MTP. I appreciate his experience.
