After our return to Chile in 2022 for our second attempt at the trip, we urgently needed to fly back to Australia to be with Marcels sick mum.
Sadly after being back in Australia for 3 weeks we lost a beautiful soul. She was the greatest woman in my life and I owe so much of who I am to this day because of her. I’m am so grateful that we were able to spend the last few weeks as a family altogether in the hospital. We would try and make her laugh, look at old photos and brush her hair. She reassured us that she had a good life with no regrets and that she would always be watching over us. This has been one of the hardest times in me and my sister’s life , loosing a parent far too soon. She will always be remembered as a loving, gentle, sweet, beautiful, kind, supportive and proud mother.
We are now returning to Chile to restart our trip for the 3rd time! Let's hope this time we succeed.

I just found your channel today, and a new sub. I’m so sorry for your loss 😢. If it’s any source of comfort please believe that the afterlife exists and that your mother is with you in spirit. My father died on the operating table during heart surgery for nearly 10 mins. He described being elsewhere, where he felt at peace in a beautiful place with trees and buildings. I asked the nurses if it’s sometimes common for people to dream under anasthesia, they said only the ones who’ve literally died. Since then I’ve been watching videos on NDE (near death experiences). Long story short I believe these people have crossed over. This brought me a lot of comfort when my dad actually passed away two years later. Hope the rest of your adventures in Chile go smoothly and stay safe!

Sorry for your loss. Losing my mother was the most challenging time in my life. Time truly heals exponentially with the belief that we will meet again and knowing she has never really left me because I have all my wonderful memories. Fill your heart with these. On the brighter side, it is so great to see you both smiling and so filled with joy finally on this endeavor. I would say your mom would be well pleased. Stay safe!
