So many things I can say. Going to leave it at this though. No, you shouldn't take Bret's word on the course. You should take the word of all of us who have taken his other courses and have been pestering him to get this one out. As he notes in this blurb, it's not just the courses, which are extremely well taught. It's the live interaction you have with him and the others he will connect you with. One of the more intimidating factors in getting into a new technology is that after the course, you are often pretty much on your own. At best you have others who are scrambling for answers to your specific issues like you are. Not so with Bret. Not only is he very responsive on his Slack channel, but he has a weekly live chat here on RUclips where you can get a lot of your questions answered.
I think it comes down to Bret's focus. While he does make money off the courses, I think one of the biggest things he gets out of it is getting new people into something he loves. And seeing those people succeed.
