The only thing foreign is blade and sharklock. Demko dropped a video on Instagram showing Andrew testing the AD-20I the HRC is 60.5

Demkos are in the same place Hinderers were about a dozen years ago. Can’t make enough, high secondary prices, robust overbuilt cutting tools.

John has stated it's an American made knife with an Italian ground blade. So basically everything is the same, except where the blade is ground. Which he claims there's better manufacturing for this application in Italy. It's assembled and sharpened here, with normal ad20 parts. Either way, I have one. I have both. It's the same thing. It's awesome.

The regular AD20 is $450. I just bought 1. The full USA version on DLT Trading has the new gimping. The Lynch clip fits the AD20 better than the AD20.5 but they are made for both.

I almost bought one from knife center but decided to wait for shot show and I’m glad I did. I grabbed the new mg20s full flat ground in magnacut and it’s absolutely perfect.

The ad20I is $25 less than the full USA version. Blade is cut and ground in Italy and sharpened in the US PA shop. Lock bar is from Taiwan. All the rest of the components are USA. HRC is 60.5.

That is the updated and current jimping for all USA made AD20s. But yes a slightly lower price would have been better. I wouldn’t pay anywhere near 425 but then again I wouldn’t pay that much for any knife. Give me an American spyderco and I’m happy.

On my 20.5 I prefer the way the Lynch clip carries but I prefer how the Demko feels while using the knife.

I just recently got a USA made ad20 with CTS-XHP in a trade. I preordered OG Ti scales and backspacer. Also Lynch makes a nice Ti clip for these. It was a little more than what it would cost factory but OG’s scales also are liner less. So I’m pretty excited about that.

I think they change their jimping style based on blade steel. The few I've had with different steels have different jimping and the 2 3v ones I have have the same.
