Gimp is free and open source, I started out drawing there before moving to (Autodesk) Sketchbook then Photoshop Same with vector, I started out on Inkscape (also free and open source) before using Illustrator

Stuff like this is really inspirational to see! It's one thing to say "everyone starts somewhere", but it's totally different to see a real-world example of the beginning stages of someone's art. It's easy to look at a really good, finished piece of work and say "they're so perfect, I'll never be at that level". It's encouraging to see that at one point, they were at the same level as you - and if they improved that much, you can too!

I began drawing in your style because I actually didn't really have a style, but I began phasing it out little by little and now the only thing I copy are the eyes. You are and will always be a big inspiration to me.
I seriously love your videos so much, you've taught me so much more than any of my highschool art teachers haha. I've tried doing research on different kinds of layers (multiply, lighten, soft/hard light, luminosity etc.) but I can't seem to get the hang of them or a proper understanding of how to use them. I seriously love your videos so much, you've taught me so much more than any of my highschool art teachers haha. I've tried doing research on different kinds of layers (multiply, lighten, soft/hard light, luminosity etc.) but I can't seem to get the hang of them or a proper understanding of how to use them. If you're ever stuck for ideas I'd absolutely love to see a video on that topic ^^

i have alot of childhood drawings and cards that i made for my grandma and seeing my own art now vs them just makes me feel so satisfied and then i would feel extra motivated to continue drawing 😂

Okay, so my New Year's resolutions for art are: practice drawing more interesting poses plus anatomy, and also draw more complete backgrounds instead of just a rectangle
Oh my gosh okay I thought this was a video from five days ago I was planning to watch and when you said that the childhood drawing would be seen by “hundreds of thousands of people” I went to check the views. I caught this video after 5 minutes of being up and there was only 37 views. I was really confused
Aw yeah! this is happening! I think what they meant was that usually a video after a day has thousands of views.
They thought this was a video posted some other day and when they saw 37 views they were confused.

Jovi Drawz I'm not sure about college, but at my school we have Art, and then we Have Digital art. You can tell what you do in each. But typically in art class you do traditional art.
