A couple hours of just freight at Stowmarket | 29/11/24

One I’d found out that I had a day off, I went to the station in the afternoon to do some train spotting. Some good workings, highlight being the Balfour Beatty Class 20 with the drain train to Diss, in preparation for works in Ipswich tunnel tonight.

i was up at regent street level crossing trainspotting on the same day i remember hearing the horn of the 66 from the crossing

It is not Sir Nigel Gresley for the GEML part of the train, it will be a 47 to Peterborough where SNG then joins the train.
