Wow! Thanks for posing this. You just gave me a great idea. There is a Target in my area that has an upper level parking lot that people NEVER use. I park up there when I go there just for that reason. I'm going to try skating up there.
I really enjoyed this and your sense of humor made me laugh. Some of your moves require strong ab muscles especially the one used 3 skates. What surface would suggest for a novice skater?
Thank you! I don’t realize half of the things I say until afterwards lol I’ve definitely noticed my core is a lot stronger since first skating because yes, strong abs make a lot of moves much easier to do. It’s great! To answer your question: tennis courts (when not in use)!! I live for skating on tennis courts. Or any sport court with a similar surface. They’re convenient, super smooth, and easier to take falls on. Protective gear will be your best friend immediately starting out as well! ✌🏽 Oh! If you aren’t intimidated by skating around people…the rink is probably the best. It’s a safe environment meant for skating and you learn from some of the best people around! It’s an encouraging atmosphere.
You do a great job with your videos, surprised you don't have more subscribers. I skate on your 1 and 2 choice exclusives. I will add to make sure that there are no signs on tennis courts specifically restricting skating there. I have courts in my area that day "no skates etc.. Just a side note our hockey court doubles as a roller derby court. Even though the Girls are practicing only using the derby track in the center of the court ,Saturdays only, they don't really like me being there. So I started going there on a different day. Happy skating 🎊
Thanks for the sentiment! I really appreciate it. You're definitely right about the tennis court rules. I was shocked one day when I saw a court that specifically said "no roller skates" lol. It would be nice if the derby team shared the space if they aren't using the entire thing, but I'm glad you're able to use it outside of that. Happy skating to you as well! :)
Overall, I use something soft like 78A outdoors. If the tennis court is really smooth and no cracks, I’ll go harder with my 92As. I prefer softer wheels at the garages though since the cement isn’t as consistent where I go.
20 mins is okay. Your smile is infectious!
😭 that’s so kind. Thank you!

are any there any skates you recommend for wide feet? thanks
What type of wheels would you suggest that you use when skating on tennis courts and covered garages.
