I'll get hated for this but Ultron just seems like a teenager going through a phase instead of having a dystopian vision for Earth.

DrakkarV794 The dialogue that were used for the storyline did sound too humanoid for my taste. Or maybe it was just delivered improper, but by listening to what was said by Ultron, I wasn't convinced by it.
DrakkarV794 But that is exactly what Ultron always was. Just a robot that was given life and forced to carry his father's darkness. A machine that was forced to think like a human, but couldn't deal with it. His solutions are extreme and his self-reflection always twisted.
He is not ominous, he is a force of destruction with a grudge against his father and by that extend his whole species.
Scarlet Witch should've said "No More Ultrons" to make things much more easier....
She can only do that when she has control of some sort of magic that she doesn't usually have. Which explains why ultron always defeats her along with the avengers in the comics.

Ultron is one my favorite villains of all time. I don't like how he was portrayed in the 2nd avengers film. But in the comics I love him. There is a painful sadness to his character, it gets deep.

Well think of it like this if ultron was more like a cold heartless mercyless ai killing mechine people would start complaing that ultron is just a rip off of the terminater and skynet and would then make him a generic kill all humans type of robot atleast here in aou hes alot different from your avage robot killing mechine he had a sence of humor which makes sence because he was created by tony stark which i think makes more sence because tonys idea of peace is to create a senteant weapon tony is the weapon guy not hank pim so i thought it was more fitting unlike a terminator/Ulron that just wants to kill all humans he wantst save them by doing what god did destroy,start over and rebuild the planet and the surviving humans he didnt seem to hate all humans like normally because he generally seemed to care for them and thats an other thing unlike terminator/Ulron he seemed to have emotions he gets angry,frustraterd, feels betrayed by the ones he cared for this ultron was more of a 3 demstonal character over then an other generic ai human killihg mechine

Yes, the point of Ultron is that he has a father complex, always trying to prove himself to Hank. This happens in every story, from Ultron Unlimited, Bendis's Avengers to Annihilation. In EMH he was Terminator, and for a nearly perfect show that is one of it's few misses.
Oh and for the record, the voice of Ultron is me again. Just heavily editted to sound like a robot

I totally dissagree. The point about Hank and Ultron is that they can't love themselves. Hank is always doubting himself and being so hard on himself that he breaks himself apart and THAT's what leads him down his darker paths. Loving himself is something that neither has ever been able to do and why when faced with it he would rather shut himself off then face it.
as someone who deals with depression this is exactly the story of Hank Pym that makes him my favorite Marvel character. Hanks greatest villain is himself and Ultron embodies that.

There is a difference between pain and knowing something is damaged, why not just make it so it is an irritating "ping" when they are hurt?

More importantly, why couldn't they be turned back on after being turned off? It should be more akin to a knockout than a death. Seems that's a much bigger design flaw.

You said in this universe Hank pym created him, I thought he was created by pym in the 616 universe. The only universe I know which Hank pym didn't create ultron is in the cinematic universe
+Gaming & animation I think that's why he made the clarification, I follow comics enough to know that Ultron was made by Hank Pym, but the MCU changed that (which completely destroys all the character development Hank Pym has in the comics) so he might be clarifying for those who are coming from the movies and don't know that.

Loved it, though the whole ''Power of Love'' thing is too cheesy. I honestly wonder what will happen after this and how Hanktron (yes, I said it) will do in later stories.
Normally i’d be against that too but given how much of an emotional wreck this composite ultron is i’m willing to believe that a powerful enough emopath could deter him like that for a little while.
I like the Ultron voice - I hope to hear it again in more Ultron stories.

Thought this story was just ok....they could have easily explored more the themes of the father-son relationship between Hank and Ultron. Or have Hank become Ultron much earlier in the story rather than in the last few pages.....and the way he gets defeated....that's some bullshit.

Thats a pretty entertaining story! I like the dynamic between Hank, Ultron and Vision. Only weak part i think is technically they beat him with love, still interesting but seem kinda cliche.
