from all the Great Apes they are my favorite,people ask me all the time the reason why orangutans,well #1 in my opinion they are closest to us,they are the most calm from all of them,very rare to see them fight or arguing,mother/child relationship is the closest from all of them again,they are bit slow but the most valuable from all,dont get me wrong ,i like all of them ofcourse,we are god damn cousins,how not to love them,sometimes im jelous from them,they are the lucky ones who didnt made it thru the evolution,we got screwed big time 😂😂😂😂😂and i hate whem somebody call them monkeys or animals,we dont call each other that so thats why i hate it,for reason they are called The Great Apes ✌🏻
Motherhood is such a joy for these wonderful female Orangutans. I'm glad she has this joy, even if she is in a zoo.

Tragic seeing them in the concrete prison you have made their home . There is a spark missing in that mothers eyes . She dreams of lush jungles.
What can she teach her baby living in an enclosure where nothing is alive .
They need respite from this mundane life. An enclosure of a few hectares, with trees and other wildlife, birds , and things to do . They are not happy just sitting there for people to look at . They need a proper life too .
Most definitely! Orangutans are tree dwellers, not concrete dwellers. So sad

Sadly I couldn’t watch ‘till the end. Poor Mum looks so very sad & lonely even though she has a new baby. No happy spark in her eyes. So, so sad! 💔😢 💔 😭🇦🇺. The sad music matches Mum’s eyes. 💔😢
I don't like zoos either. We don't know how other people are feeling, let alone other species. Maybe you're right. Maybe not. I see a loving mother and that is a gift from God.

Mom was so neat about arranging the sheets and tucking them all around. I was so amazed over that. She certainly is a good, caring, and loving mother. She keeps her baby close to her chest no matter what her tasks are. I could watch her and her baby for hours.
