- Warrington booked their third Challenge Cup final place in four seasons with victory over Huddersfield in 2012.
That Warrington team from 2010-13 was ridiculously good!
They were special times. Miss them a lot!!
@@JayChambers83 agreed. Hopefully we fight our way back to how we once were. Great chance to this season, after this start we've had. Confident about this team too, think they'll do big things for us
The fact backs like ratchford were down the pecking order, and forwards like hill and cooper were bench players/2nd choice, shows how good the rest of the squad were. The best players of the last few years were just rookies at the time (obviously understandably due to age, but still the point remains).
2009 was where we first won the challenge cup in years, another equally good season, that deserves to be included in the mention of that era. It's the 2009-13, that were ridiculously good. But the particular "rediculously" good team was start of the era of course. Peak Warrington that infact probably. You'd think it's daft to say it's that recent we peaked, given the club's history - and with the bigger clubs in sport it would, but in our case, little did happen before this unfortunately 😂.
@@_biggaz yeah it’s been a fantastic start. Plenty of power and pace, and the team are exciting to watch (best I’ve seen in a few years now). We were unlucky last night but I’ve no doubt we have the capability to redeem ourselves.
