Im most a punk rocker than a metalhead, and this is hilarious!! You really made a funny punk rock song!! Im mexican, so I like many latin, spanish and argentinean punk rock. And, men!! Punk rock bass guitars, drums, and beer are just the best for me, you make me laught as shit! Love your vids!
I laughed at you being resourceful and being forced to record your vocals outside in your car. Those of us fellow musicians who live in apartments with neighbors and wives/girlfriends who demand "QUIET!!!!" completely understand. Haha!!! Have your neighbors ever caught you screaming and yelling in your car? :)
haha, yes it's a real issue :D I guess no one ever caught me screaming in my car because I drive about 1 mile away from civilization. I have kind of a secret spot
Haha! It's going to make an amazing video, the day when police and ambulances arrive while you're in the middle of screaming lyrics because someone JUST HAPPENED to be out there, and thought that you were injured or some crazy person having a "freak-out". Luck never holds out forever. I've been there. I've been caught looking stupid doing stuff with my tape recorder for my music in public so many times(I record a lot of found sounds and sound effects and can't resist ANYTHING that makes a strange or interesting noise.). I could tell stories.
BlackburnBigdragon, please tell some of the stories. Give us something to laugh :) I have been caught screaming and growling a few times in public. Well, my parents didn't allow me to practice vocals at home, so I grabbed my bike and headphones and drove somewhere in the forest or on (seemingly) empty bike routes. One time out in the woods I was growling some Amon Amarth song when a group of hikers suddenly came from behind me. That was quite an awkward moment. I just stood there and they looked at me strangely. Then I turned around and just walked away without saying a word. Or another time I drove on a bike route and was screaming some German Grindcore/Punk song that had lyrics about Hitler. Well, I thought that the road was empty, but there was one curve I couldn't see behind. So I drove round the curve, just screaming Adolf Hitler on the top of my lungs and then there's another cyclist. It was the pastor of my local church... I will never forget the look on his face. XD
Let's see. I found an empty dumpster that was behind a grocery store that was behind my old apartment that when they tossed stuff in it always made a nice echoed "BOOM!!!". One day, I caught the garbage truck emptying the thing, so I ran down there, stuck the mic against it and started banging a branch against it. It made an amazing bass filled "BOOM!!!!", especially when I would slam it's top. It also had a little sliding door in the side do i could stick the mic inside, and I could scream inside and it was like an echo chamber. The only issue was that the damn thing was connected via a dump chute to the inside of the store and I didn't realize that they could hear me in on the inside and it was very soon that I was... visited. I got some great recordings.. but I felt very... stupid. I was maybe 18 at the time. This was back in maybe 1989, it could have been 90... or even 91. I was young and doing a lot of experimental tape music and Tracker/Mod music was just getting started on PC's. I also got recordings of me banging on carriages and other stuff behind that store as well before I was... found. I didn't damage anything. I just recorded the sounds of the wheels squeeking. The carriages rattling and banging as they slammed together. The sound of something as it raked across the metal basket. That sort of stuff. :)
This isn't a "Get caught in public" story, but it's funny. I remember that I used to work on my music with my bedroom windows open because it would get really hot in there in the summer. This was back in the day when I had the glory of my first PC and had discovered Trackers back in the EARLY 90's and was using audio editors to mangle sounds. Being young, of course, I had my computer audio piped through my four channel mixer which was piped through my guitar amp which was turned up to goddamed 11. I'm lucky at 48 that I still have my hearing. I recall that I was spending the entire afternoon with this old DOS audio editing software called "Master Blaster", editing and completely mangling to hell the sound of a goat bleat that I had downloaded from a dialup BBS. I had this thing sounding like 10000 demons clawing their way out of the pits of hell, while shredding a city full of humans. Anyway. Later on, my dad comes home and I'm on my bed, reading a book. My dad looks at me and gives me this look. "I just had a VERY INTERESTING discussion with our neighbor." "Uh. About what?". "He said that he heard you... torturing animals or... something....horrible.... So the next time you feel like torturing animals.... TURN THAT SHIT DOWN!!!!!"" On a side note, "TURN THAT SHIT DOWN!!!!" was my parent's continued mantra with me the moment they discovered that they had a son who had decided that he was going to become of a musician of some sort, or try to be... As a matter of fact, when I was practicing with one of my bands in the garage, and we were recording ourselves, the basement door slammed open to have my dad yell in, "TURN THAT SHIT DOWN!!!!". It was the perfect way to end the song and we actually wrote that into the end of it and screamed it in the end from that point forward. I still have the tape cassette from that day in my closet.
Man I hate those artists that want money for their albums :D the government police part at 6 minutes was pretty funny. I would vote for a full on viking metal tutorial get a sick helmet and stuff, I can imagine you doing that. Also glad you got sponsored by Marshall! You deserve it!
Nice "punk" video from a "black metal" channel. But, I expect a "crust punk" video from you, too. You did the best tutorials on DSBM, Atmospheric Black Metal and even Funeral Doom. So, I think your "Crust Punk" would be a nice tutorial. P.S : I know you have sense of humor and comedy in your videos, but they are actually useful for people who have idea about this type of music!

If you like the more hardcore style of punk check out my old band Major Disappointment. Songs: Prism, abrasive oi!, tax is control, working poor, United Nations Fuck Off, hope for the future. Theres more and theres an enture cd from before i was on it and the underground allegiance album is the one im on. And all singles
Hey if you like hardcore punk I'll let you in on a secret there is a fucking fantastic band called spite there kinda underground but I have a feeling they are going to be the next big band in the scene
So basically punk without distortion is country and black metal without distortion is surf music
if black metal were only tremolo...
@Slingshot Betty well you might enjoy Black Metal Beach Party!
Ive never been so offended by something i 100% agree with
Usually punk uses overdrive instead of distortion. Some may call it nitpicky, but there's a huge difference
InstaBlaster.
The video seems to be very quiet. Sorry for that sound issue!
Farvann looks like you need a sOuNd GuY
Nah, I just need to do the post production when I'm sober. Mistake #2

Nice my mate! In germany it's also an adjective. "to be frank" means "to be free"
I really like that name

They can take our lives, but they'll never take, OUR FRANKDOM!!!! 🏴🏴🏴🤘🤘🤘
I intended that as joke, Dude! 😉👍
Die Weiße Rose writes "Freiheit", which means "Freedom"!
What about Ana Frank?
That's means Ana Be free??

This is god-tier Farvann
Sounds surprisingly good buddy!
Was the first time I made to different guitar tracks. I mean, I recorded the same song twice :-)
I always do that with my tracks. It beefs up the sound but it also masks some of my mistakes! Also, you can make guitar harmonies and counterpoints.
Here's an another way to write "I don't like the government, I like warm beer" in finnish "En pidä valtiosta, pidän lämpimästä oluesta". Great lyrics!
Man I hate those artists that want money for their albums :D the government police part at 6 minutes was pretty funny. I would vote for a full on viking metal tutorial get a sick helmet and stuff, I can imagine you doing that.

The Marshall thing was a joke of course 😁
Marshall probably never heard of my stupid little channel
haha cmon dude i was going along with it and everything! i guess i should have done some emote to signal that im in on the joke ;) thats my bad haha
You uploaded this film right in the moment when a punk concert started in my city... Nostradamus confirmed ?
I use to drink a beer with Nostradamus every now and then
Farvann well, sounds like a plan.
How to play Punk? Thrash on your guitar at around 140 bpm and yell into the microphone and call it a day. The shitty it sounds the more punk it is.
Nice "punk" video from a "black metal" channel. But, I expect a "crust punk" video from you, too. You did the best tutorials on DSBM, Atmospheric Black Metal and even Funeral Doom. So, I think your "Crust Punk" would be a nice tutorial.

Muhammadreza Haghiri Yeah, Neo Crust is basically Crusty Black Metal.
Wow i didnt know you understand Finnish punk lyrics. Very usefull skill to learn
LOL
Finland is as much warm as Brazil.
Binging your old videos, nice Nerv shirt!
I like that song :D the laughing you added was mad cool
ahhahahahh what a great video, i'm a bit dissappointed that you didnt bring that Marshall mini amp with you to the car tho
batteries are empty :-(
Das muss Krachmucker Ernie erst mal toppen! Auf jeden Fall Abo dagelassen 🤘🖤❤️😎#punksnotdead
Braucht er gar nicht toppen, sind ja zwei völlig unterschiedliche Kanäle :-)
Danke!
Wow the new Darkthrone album sounds sweet
It's funny because Darkthrone made some shitty crust punk albums in the past, after they gave up black metal.
Metal_dude329 Whaaat? Dude ravaging grimness, the cult is alive etc. they’ve made some good albums not to mention their album they put out two years ago arctic thunder
That bass though 👊
What the hell did I watch???
But really make blackned punk tutorial/ blackened crust/ blackened hardcore/ black'n'roll
16:40 you turned into Glenn Danzig for a second
Hey that's pretty good. I'm not much into punk, but you make it entertaining all the same.
That's my goal. I want to make you forget that the video is about a specific genre and just entertain. Thanks!
Adrenalin od!!! jersey🤘 Nice vid man!!!
Hahah! You have to have all the cool punk patches on your jacket too. Some over others, like carpet samples
god's in his heaven, all is right in the world
Let me guess you got Adrenalin O.D from Fenriz, didn't you Frank?
Yes! I got it from the interview with that german metal magazine
Farvann What do you think is the more supperior bm meme, fenriz's "rock n roll gas station" or Varg's infamous smile?
So.... Next time.... Black-Depresive-Punk? 😂
Awesome result
Punk, the one band I enjoy the most is Danzig's The Misfits, some songs from Dead Kennedys and Sex Pistols.
Punk is simple if you don't play bass. Punk bass is either incredibly fast or really complex (Rancid, Anti Flag etc). The best instrument for playing punk is whatever you found in a dumpster.
Farvann saying the meaning of power chords looked that he was drunk, LOL
When you said "YOU CANNOT HELP ME!" It sounded like Tommy Weiseu
Now you owe us a crossover thrash tutorial

Nice "Evangelion" shirt haha
You're very imaginative, very funny video.
Woah man, you just casually revealed your name. Frankenpunk ftw! By the way, do you like Veltins beer?
It wasn't a secret ;-)
I think I already revealed it in the "10 genres" video
Veltins is okay. I don't drink it really often. When I was younger, I used to drink all the Veltins V+ stuff
man this one was too high
i mean too punk

3:10 it sounds like SPANK THRU by Nirvana
3:08 DIS DUDE RIPPING OFF SPANK THRU 😂😂 WHAT THE...
Never heard of that name, lemme check
Oh it's Nirvana, I don't really like them or grunge in general 😅
@@FarvannCuz your riff sounds like the INTRO of "Spank thru" by Nirvana.
But i Was kidding, you are not ripping off, ok bro 🤘🤘🔥
@@d00meRgames Yeah that's actually a funny coincidence hahaha
Woah. Nice NERV shirt. Didn't expect you to be a fan of Evangelion.
Oh yes, I like everything that turns out to be very complex and extremely hard to understand. Except for Punk of course 😄
9:27 a hahaha what the heck face 😂😂😂😂😂
Dude I'm stealing that ruff hahaha now that's punk
love it
Almost felt a connection, rebel, anarchist, hate taxes, hate the government, but am a capitalist...Anarchocapitalist.

You are too early
You stupid?!
This is a *Black Metal* channel...
Its like almost too high
haha :D
I have no idea why I pictured Bruce Dickinson jumping in and started singing when the riff kicked in.
A Tex Williams reference? Good man
Funny video and the song is as always legit as fuuuuuueekrk

Do you watched Evangelion?( I just saw NERV shirt)

Maybe you like Aus-Rotten. It's an anarchist Crust-Punk-band.
Finnish part- best part! XD

fantastic 🤘
Sounds like a GG Allin song. I love it!

Give this rebel a bier
Not being drunk or druged while playing, big mistake
that NERV shirt
hell yeah
did you actually play ich weiß? Because what you played on 3:10 sounds a lot like that song
