    Teen-age sweethearts, Benjie Whitney and Ann Howel, decide to elope to Mexico. Jamie Forbes, insane itinerant oil-field worker, who has killed his boss, runs on to them when they run out of gas and forces them to take him with them. On the way, he murders a blonde woman, at a gas station, who resents his attentions. Once in Mexico, he forces his attentions on Ann, while holding Benjie at bay with a switch-blade knife.

    Love these low budget "B" features from the late 50s ! THANKS so much for uploading. SPOILERS : "The weed of crime bears bitter fruit....crime does NOT pay" (thus sayeth "The Shadow" - aka Lamont Cranston).

    Long time fan of 50s and 60s films,strangely enough never seen this gem, fabulous acted,not see the main bad guy before, he certainly was using the method acting style to great effect, wonderful performance, curious to speculate what someone like James Dean would of done with the role.Thanks for posting a good quality add free print,fully appreciated.

      @@robtw88 Found out about Steve Marlo,woe interesting .life a d career,made a living as a actor,but never became a big star, new Paul Newman,Steve McQueen, James Dean, Brando, incredible, was Brandos Standin,actor associate for 6 months on One eyed Jack's,, The stories he must have,he never did get that book written, what a shame ,wou,d of made a fantastic read,I bet he met Glen at some point.

    Thanks for the upload Rob, really enjoyed the film. I knew someone very similar to the psycho character, fortunately he wasn't a killer, just never stopped talking and was full of big ideas.

    I see Dan Blocker’s name in the credits! He played large brother Hoss in the iconic western Bonanza back in the day with Michael Landon, Pernell Roberts and Lorne Greene as Pa. All wonderful actors on an extremely popular series.

    Never seen Ed Nelson in a bad flick yet. One of better B movie stars, along with Beverly Garland and Mike "touch' Connors.

    Who would have thought teens could be that bad in 1959? Glad I was still a young kid. All kidding aside, this was a fine film with an interesting story line. Filming was better than "B".

      Yes, Irvin Kershner went on to direct big budget 'prestige' projects like Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back and Never Say Never Again, but his talent was already apparent in this fast-paced low budget gem.

    A very good movie for its time. That's why Hollywood was so successful in the world. In any other country in the world, this kind of a movie would be twice as long and pretty boring.

      You seriously have a problem. At no time in this movie did the girls go after "the bad boys." Get help for twisting the story into a warped interpretation.

    Wow ! there seemed to be so many of these "Captivity" / High -Jack themed films----they're a genre onto themselves. One could go back to 1935's Show Them No Mercy and find the same narrative of a innocent couple held hostage by psycho criminal. Never heard of Steve Marlo until now...obviously takes his chiseled looks from Paul Newman and persona from Marlon Barndo !

      You're absolutely right! In the mid-fifties, Hollywood studios discovered that more than 70% of their audience was aged 12 to 26 so consequently they began producing a slew of movies aimed at a younger audience.

      According to IMDb he is still alive at 94 and this was his last acting credit.
