JaysAndKays Thanks. Actually I ordered your nato adaptor kit from your amazon store a few days ago, I was going to use it in the GA-1000 because I really did not like the strap it came with. However i kind of like the strap it came with. Instead I am going to put it on my GA-110TS-1A4 watch.
GA1000 is not 16mm lug G so that kit you bought would not work on GA1000.

One of amazing thing in this watch is when you press light button the arrow on little arrow Second Hand lits up. How they squeazed circuits in little thing keeping it light.
Also the blue light is very bright in dark.
I've had this watch since 2016 and it has been fantastic! I have had to replace the battery twice and the strap once, however.
2015 my bro gifted me this watch and i am exploring it well now and i love it. Thank you so much and you are amazing!

I wish this watch had barometer instead of compass feature. Knowing the temperature and whether it's going to rain and the level of barometric pressure and humidity levels in the atmosphere, is far more useful in daily life than a compass, in my view!

Hi!. I'm from Argentina. I did read your comment and I want to share my experience: the compass feature it's good for me becouse I work in mountains, islands and I like to camping. So, travel in my country...is good to can put yourself inside the forest and have the security that you always be safe to return to civilization. For me is ok. But anyone has each particular point of view. Think about it. Best regards.
Just changed batteries after 4 years so needed a memory jog on how to re-set it... just what I needed, especially re-aligning the hands which have been off by about 40 mins for years... ha-ha. Cheers

JaysAndKays to be honest I prefer watches around 40mm to 43mm, this piece is around 46 and it doesn’t really feel gigantic I could say. it’s my first G shock and I don’t use it as an everyday watch, but so far I’d say it will be a beater. And Im surprised that I’m really happy with this purchase the features are a bargain for its price, this is not a wrong decision.
I had one of this buy the little plane indicator melted after a summer swimming activity. Went to acadio for guarantee and they rejected my claim due to “misuse”. So disappointed

Hey mate, great video! I have recently purchased the Orange Version of this watch. Just wondering, are we able to change the bands to the metal GShock bands at all like on other models?

Hey Scout. I am sorry but I don't know and would have to do some research on what metal bands can mate to Aviator series models (the strap connection to body is different than other models). Perhaps some of our fellow enthusiasts in here can add some suggestion.
Hey Scout, I thought about this more. If you use my Convertibles for 5600, then you can use a 22mm metal bracelet. if you look at my Instagram (@jaysandkays) then you can see several examples of where I use the metal bracelet with the Convertibles.

Thanks for a great video. My watch is off by 12 hours. It changes the date at noon. Any thoughts on how to correct this?
Problem solved. I set the watch for 24 hour display and noticed that it read 2:31. It should have read 14:31 for the correct 24 hour time. After setting the time correctly the date changed at midnight as expected.
How to edit my hand to match my digital time. Thanks in advance when I manually edit it and I press adjust it just goes back to what it was

What if middle small dial is not aligned? How to adjust that?

Are the minute and hour hands not supposed to match the time it shows in the display or no?
in your normal time keeping mode, yes, both analog and digital should be same time. but in world time mode the digital might be different from your analog. have a watch of the video and you can see some info that might clear it up for you

When pressing compass button, normally it will directly lead you to compass, and show you pointing to compass (upper left on screen). My problem in the upper left screen is mixed up...when pressing compass > WT, alarm>tmr, home screen>alarm mode... please advice.thank you
@@johndonne20 the actual mode is correct but the mode indicator is not? if so, you can adjust that and is briefly discussed later in the video about how to recalibrate the analog hands.
@@JaysAndKays bro! Got it! H.set, explore mode/up(lights)/downs(search) buttons until it indicates sub in the display. So adjust to 12 o'clock (airplane indicator)..and then finish i adjusted in our time.thanx alot bro...
Its 2024 😂 and i finally got a broken one only dial so i fix it modified it with a new strap and iam using it now 😂

Hey Sohan. Can you describe a little more about what it is not doing correctly? Best would be to send me a private message here or in one of my stores such as ebay, etsy or at facebook (search jaysandkays in any of those to find me).
In the manual there is a page dedicated to calibrate the compass, if this doesn't work take it to the casio showroom for a check up
How accurate is the thermometer? 45 degrees Celsius is incredibly hot.
i don't think it is inaccurate, as it was sitting pretty close to some halogens for a bit prior to shooting the vid. yeah, 45 is toasty. Like an Iraqi summer.
You have to take your watch off for.about 5 minutes to capture the real ambient temperature, the thermometer is influenced by your own body heat. This is for every watch with thermometer
The temperature sensor is connected to the back plate.

I'm debating between this and the GA 700. Maybe You can help me out which one to go for regardless of price difference.
GA700 looks great but in my opinion, that 5522 module falls rather short on feature set. No compass or temp sensors, no autolight, come to mind. The front button on GA700 is convenient but if you like the looks of both watches equally well, I say go for the GA1000 for more features. Let me know your thoughts.
