One of the BEST mods i've seen yet for the tough system. I've done similar for my 'blade box" Same size tough system box, I made racks to vertically hold my saw blades from 5 3/8" up to 12" I change blades very often on jobs, makes it a breeze to stay organized. Makes the box awfully heavy, but it is what it is.
Very clever. You should talk to a plastic molder and make it into production. Or, patent your idea and send it to Dewalt. Your idea has a lot of merits. Great job and video.
Thank you very much. Please inform me of your results. Additionally, I have another video of a 3D printed version: ruclips.net/video/J_77XQXcnt4/видео.htmlsi=qhA7Y6nBh3o9WUAX
I don’t see the point of the large boxes with these systems, you’ve definitely nailed it with your fix, well done you. Most bags/boxes are lacking, the manufacturers need to target the trades better, not just providing pouches, but pouches with a purpose. Modular systems with inserts like you made are the way to go.
Definitely agree with you, I started out as an apprentice in 1986, my first tool kit was some old stuff handed to me by my supervisor in a hessian sack. Fast forward 37 years and I have hundreds of pounds worth of tool bags/boxes/trolleys. Tools are my passion, they make my life easier and I take care of them. A few years ago I was doing Commercial Catering for the MOD, after carrying out repairs I would put my dirty tools through the dishwasher. A minute later they’d come out the other side clean and dry 😊 In the last 10:years I’ve probably spent £600/£700 on screwdrivers alone, I ordered some new hollow nut drivers the other day. I’m looking at this video because I want a modular system going forward, it’s just do I buy Dewalt Tough System, Milwaukee Packout or the new Klein ModBox……………….. 😎 Back to your reply, I see the care taken by guys with a good tool set compared to the ones who haven’t, it’s definitely a ‘thing’
Bro I'm usign KNIPEX case on the wheels but If I saw this movie year ago I'll definetly chose your way of building the tool case / cart :D Well done good job!
One of the coolest tool boxes I’ve seen! Very nice work!
Inspiring video!
thank you 😀
Really nice. High density storage, yet neatly organized, and accessible.

Sounds good I would definitely choose first rule of retrievability over heaviness

Very good idea but the problem is it will be very Pacific on your needs and what tools you need for the job
Really well done mate!

Definitely a messy toolbox to me is where tools go to die because I can never find them again
Nice setup. Thx for sharing. Watching from Ontario Canada 🎉

There's 3 type of guys in life , guys with clean organized tools, guys with dirty tools and guys with no tools.
Love it they're not so clean anymore

@@intelligenttinkering Full knipex case weights 20kg and it's only filled with hand tools like your one
This is awesome - ty
Love it👍
Nice, but I'd be worried about the hammer cracking the case some day.
Still using it to this day, no problem
Nice ! 🎉

Hey great video, how do your Magnusson tools stand up against time just bought a few and want some that will last. Can still return if needed?
Honest opinion is there good for the price there is better but you'll be paying a lot more
@@intelligenttinkering thanks pal. Which ones would be better how much more? Do you have an example please?
thank u bro.
awesome box, i am curious as to what your trade is and what you do on a daily basis
I working the Leisure industry as a technician
I did the same with the open tote only issue is using wood it gets massively heavy
It does get heavy but I think it's well worth it
Зачем больше 50 отвёрток. Которые редко используешь,заменить битами.
