I decorated for Halloween for over 20 yrs. All scary stuff! We didn’t stop decorating until after my youngest was a senior. We always had parties and lots of games and prizes! Pass the pumpkin in a circle of kids while playing scary music and then stop music and if you have pumpkin your out and continue until your down to 2 for the win of a prize. That was my favorite to watch them play. It was fun watching you! I can’t wait for Salem!
Yes! And still do even though my children are fully grown and out of the house. It’s just fun
I don’t decorate for Halloween but I do fall decorating but after watching this video I’m gonna try something on my buffet in my dining room! I love this video very well done

Believe me! Your children will remember. Mine do!! They are all adults. No doubt their children will to. Very creative! I am 72 and still go all out for Halloween. I LOVE IT!!😁🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃

Everything looks fantastic!!! Just a suggestion: If you use fishing line to hang your things, they will truly appearing to be floating in mid air!
Your dining room table scape is awesome. Spirit Halloween or Walmart or Michael’s usually have skeleton hands. Pick up a pair of them and place them on your pumpkins that are on your scape. Just adds a bit of whimsical spookiness without looking too much. Oh, make sure you get a left and a right hand. You only need two. One on each side of your cauldron or put them in the cauldron hanging on to the edge as if they were cooked into the witches stew. Have fun👍🎃

Your house looks freaking awesome!! I used to decorate for my grandkids, but they are all grown ,& gone now. I had a fog machine & when kids came to our door all the fog would go out the door. We also had spooky music playing & I had a gargoyle fountain with blood like water. So much fun!!!

You will not regret Salem during its Haunted Happenings! I have been twice over Halloween it was awesome! I live in Nevada so going to the East coast is a treat! Love Halloween I over decorate inside and out. Witches are my main theme!
I would love to see every detail of your witches dinner party. I am a party giver and love new ideas. I gave a Halloween party for my jazzercise classmates and it was so much fun. I hired a tarot card reader and set her up in my dark spooky sun room. The girls loved it.

I love how everything turned out. I am only doing a little touch of Halloween this year. I got rid of a lot of Halloween this year. But I like to do a little touch for my grandchildren.
I found this so inspiring! I have not been into the skeletons and skulls this year, but now I’ll be making a witch’s broom and hat to decorate our entry!!

So very creative. Love the floating hats and candles! So many great touches all came out boo-tiful! In Salem go to the cemetery where the "accused witches" are buried. Very old cemetery and when we went in early evening they were lit by candles and had the Graves decorated. Very eery....

Before I retired as a teacher, I would hang many things from the ceiling with fishing line. It worked great and you could not see what the items were hanging from. Love the idea in your home!

You inspire me so much! I didn't even know I wanted to decorate for Halloween until I saw your video. It's such a challenge to decorate for this season without being too cartoony or TOO terrifying. You nailed the natural spooky look, and I love it! Great job!
Everything looks wickedly wonderful. Great touches everywhere. A few years ago, I found a pair of very old ladies black heeled lace up shoes at an antique store. Also found a black velvet cape (at a Halloween store) that I added to my witch display. I have a large skull head candle, an old hour glass and old books in my display. Love the apothecary and typewriter ideas!! Great inspiration. Can't wait to see your Halloween dinner. My daughter does one on Halloween for her family. Lots of ghoulishly yummy food ideas on Pintrest. Love your entry!
I no longer decorate for Halloween because all my little grandchildren now live out of state BUT I sure had fun watching you decorate … you Miss Jessica are a delight!! PS…. Clear fishing line works great for “levitating” light items like the broom and candles. It is pretty strong and cheap… find in Walmart sporting goods.
Just a suggestion, but you might invest in some fishing line to hang your candles, witches broom, etc. that way the string you use doesn’t show as much. Your decorations are fabulous. Your home looks great.
Hi! I'm new to your channel and your Halloween decor is wonderful! Floating candle/hat hack. Fishing line! I have my own roll of it for decorating, I use it a lot during Christmas.

The jars you have….LOVE them, then when you added the bird cage with the raven, perfect! Wow! I think this was just as good, if not better, than your Harry Potter a few years back! Everything was so thought out, Jessica! I just loved it! I feel the same way about decorating for Halloween! It's like you can really be creative as it is so "out there" that you can really have fun with it....like the weirder the better! I decorated a few rooms a couple of years ago and I loved it! I probably won't this year as I just put out my Fall decor this last weekend...it was out of our 3 main rooms for a month as we were installing new flooring. It was such a mess so all the decor had to come down and then I had to really dust/clean/mop everything and put it all back along with all the furniture. I just don't have the energy or the time, but I will probably do the kitchen table (I had bought a few black pumpkin lanterns) and the porch but that will probably be all...(but you never know know! ;) Thanks for this...I can live vicariously through you!!!!
