I don’t decorate for Halloween really, I already have so much Fall and Christmas decor I don’t know where I’d store it but I love to see other people do it! You have an amazing eye for detail. Thank you so much!! That is a great question! I typically use a combination of double-sided tape and command hooks. I usually place the command hooks in places where you won't see them, usually the very edge/inner corner of the mantel, and have the hook be an anchor while the tape holds it down in other places. Thank you so much!! The clean up isn't too bad, only if it's on fabric! For the most part, it all just pulls off super easy in large chunks. Think of it as dried hot glue from a glue gun, it's pretty much exactly the same thing, just in tiny strands. The only time it is difficult if it is on fabric, especially lace. It will come off, but it takes some time and patience. Since I only use it on Halloween items, I don't mind if there's some left behind, as I will likely cover them in cobwebs the following year. Let me know if you end up trying it out and what you think! 🖤🕸️

Too many small and insignificant items for my taste, looks like a Hallmark store. Better to have fewer more substantial items, like very tall, creepy, black branches, varying the heights of items. Less items with writing on them, more like a vampire lives there than like a Halloween store. Just my personal taste 🤷
Thankfully, there is more than one way to decorate so we can all express ourselves authentically. It is no different than choosing what to wear. I do use varying heights when I decorate, and I speak on that often during my voiceovers. Although you feel my items are insignificant, they are significant to me and hold a lot of meaning. What you're describing sounds more like gothic decor versus traditional Halloween. Although gothic themes are often used for Halloween, I am myself gothic. I grew up decorating my room like a vampire 24/7, with candelabras, branches, velvet, and anything that made my midwest home feel like an abandoned castle. It would be boring for me to do this for a holiday when I've once lived this way on a daily basis. The spirit of Hallowe'en to me feels like a vintage Halloween party exploded all over the house. Black and orange everywhere, an abundance of jack-o'-lanterns and ghosts and haunted houses. Fog, cobwebs, crepe paper, and colorful lighting. Sometimes total glam. Making my home look solely like a vampire lives here wouldn't give me that true Halloween feeling that I'm seeking. I would have to be a vampire that then decorates for Halloween. 😂 Have you created any Halloween content so I can check out your minimalist approach to Halloween decor? I think it would be interesting!! 🧛🍷
