I've been pointing out these parallels in comment sections whenever I see someone upset that the father is also charged in Georgia. In both the MI and GA cases, the families ignored red flags in terms of psychiatric issues, and then turned around and gave these boys firearms as Christmas presents.
Parents need to stop bad behaviour as early as toddlers dont think its funny when your child behaves with agression stop the coddling if you love your child.

Kids were given guns as gifts for ages but they never did anything like this. Christian Morals are no longer taught in a lot of homes these days, more kids are on mind-altering drugs than ever before, factor in the Leftist Propaganda taught in schools, the slack security measures and things like this are going to happen.

No, because guns aren't the problem. Mental health is. Guns don't kill people, people do. If you really cared you'd put your mouth where your money is and be calling your reps to do something about the mental health in your district or city. Instead like many others people will target an inanimate object without understanding that they're just taking away the one of many other tools that could be used for this exact same situation. Just look at every other country that has banned guns or heavily restricted them. Yes gun crime went down in those countries, but do you know what shot up? Knife crimes to the point of mass stabbings, acid attacks, vehicular manslaughter. Taking away guns does nothing, it only forces the person to find other means of inflicting their will on others.
