    Really liked when JS was a Sabre. Back in the waning days of the NHL still being gritty. It gets softer every season.

    Sorry John but the Leaf defenceman you cranked in the neck, Carter Ashton, didn't go down.
    Ok technically he did but I don't think it was from your punch because Ashton didn't just drop, what he and 3 or 4 other Leafs did do was jump on top of you (like the men they are).
    If you think about it all of them jumping on you at once was probably their smartest move of the season, fighting you one on one wasn't something they wanted any part of.
    BTW I just found this channel the other day and I've really enjoyed your videos.

    I'm newer to watching hockey, but glad I played soccer back in the day....I would not have the balls to fight, get punched or go up against big ass alpha dudes who can lay you out on that hard ass ice....I'd be shook

    I'm surprised he did't talk about turning down fighting Zdeno Chara after Milan Lucic turned down fighting him. Very disappointed in Lucic about that.

    • @buttkick22

      You mean when chara high sticked him in the nose and made him bleed? When chara apologized and asked if he was alright while they were holding each other and he clearly knew it wasn’t time to fight anymore?
      Scott challenged chara for yearssss. On more than one team he played for too. Chara turned him down every single time.

      Bahaha stop it

    • @buttkick22
      @buttkick22 10 месяцев назад

      @@badkarma2754 he did. I remember one of the times him doing at the end of a chippy blowout game when he was with the rangers. Scott challenged chara multiple times and what did chara do? Kept skating away. Then, he went after a different ranger when scott went to the bench and got himself tossed from the final minutes of the game. You could see scott pissed off and screaming at chara from the bench and pierre mcguire was losing his mind saying scott is livid that chara turned him down only to jump a different guy moments later. It was on the old versus channel. Use to have it DVR’s along with a bunch of other good fights and scrums. Usually from Hockey night in canada.
      RUclips laraque and scott discussing chara on scott’s podcast. He talks about chara always turning him down. And then they both proceed to make fun of chara for something he has widely been known for to anyone outside of boston. That chara would purposely tackle guys or conveniently “slip” and fall to the ice to end the fight early. The vast majority of his fights against legitimate top ranked super heavyweights went that way. No true heavyweight was afraid of chara. Not a chance in hell scott would ever turn down chara after chasing him for years. He was high sticked in the face by chara and bleeding from it. Chara immediately realized it and you can see them chatting while scott has a face like “awe come on wtf man” and chara is apologetic. He was given 4min on that play for a reason. Get a fucking clue it’s right in front of your face 😂…
