still cant get pass ecstacy without shedding a tear, for 20 years i dreamed of this concert and it felt so exciting and surreal to be there.
10/10 i'd do it again

I was there that night. Def shed a tear during these two songs
when ectasy gets played. i have my whole life passing in front my eyes. me as teenager listening metallica in the 80s, my first concert, 1991, this goes on until today. saw it played by maetro morricone and his orchestra in 2014.
i realize it is kinda randomly asking but do anyone know a good place to watch new movies online?

I don't understand why they repetaed so many songs from the original S&M. Orion should be sooo perfect instead of TCOK, it was the obvious one.

Am I the only one who doesn't dig Ktulu infused with orchestra? Same feeling I felt years ago with S&M1. Ktulu is my fav instrumental of all time and I just cannot get used to it played this way. The orchestra overpowers it.
Summer Rose any metal music with an orchestra is amazing. Probably even Pantera with an orchestra would sound fucking amazing
I agree. Metallica is perfect as it is-why mess it up trying for a crossover audience? Add muddy sound to it and they've turned me off -again!

The first S&M is one of the greatest live performances of all time.
Hopefully they'll only do a few tweaks to the sound for the album release as this seems a better more raw version on S&M1. NOt sure about the first show, but the fact there was now pre-recording of the drums in Ecstasy, shows this could be a great sound.

orchestra does overpower the music of Metallica, cant hear where they are at, nor can I hear the solo
i think it's the camera mic getting overpowered. my ears were ringing after the concert, it was LOUD. i'm hoping that with the remaster of the show it's much more balanced.
Why the fuck they played TCOK again instead of Orion!? Wasn't it obvious enough that Orios should have been played? Why they repeeated so many songs from the original S&M?
I have nothing against Lars but if you compare this with S&M Call of Kthulu it's not a good execution

I wonder how much Lars will have to restrain himself to play at a standard tempo instead of speeding up like he normally does in concert? I feel like I could hear some of that at the start of his drum section... ;)
