I saw this down in my RUclips feed, and as a fan of both bands, instantly clicked. I had high expectations, and they were met, exceeded and obliterated. Get this out as a single, get this out to XM, get this out on Apple and Spotify. It's the perfect song choice mated to the perfect cover artist.
I really hope these covers make it onto the major streaming services.
Spotify especially because that's what I use to connect to my whole home audio.
If they don't, I'm afraid they'll just get lost in the bowels of RUclips.

I can not believe this!!! My mom passed on July 21st. I mentioned this in another comment to one of you guys songs. I am now convinced my mom is reaching out!!! We love mazzy star so much our dog that came from the woods is named mazzy. This was one of our favorites of hers and the fact you guys are singing it......I have no words......I love you mom!!!! M O please keeping singing for us, for me, for my mom.❤

Been listening to Manchester since I was in high school when black mile dropped. These covers continue to blow my mind and remind me that Andy is one of the most underrated vocalists of modern times. Can’t wait for more to come.

I love this stripped down version...the original by Mazzy Star has been a favorite since I was a kid. But this cover... Its like being reacquainted with a love you thought you knew so well & being knocked off your feet by someone else's translation of that love. Dont take anything for granted, even a favorite song youve tucked away on a playlist from a long time ago....cuz the right musicians will come along & make you realize how much youll love that song forever.

I would have loved to have heard Andy and Mazzy's Star Hope do this song as a duet. While her rendition seems to be more tormented and even vulnerable, his is strangely soothing .I put this song on with ear phones on and it feels like his voice is a feather caressing my skin and my whole body, giving me the strangest tingles. How does the same song sang by two different people create such a different reaction? Both awesome as the song is special.... I don't want to choose.....but as a treat would have loved the duet.
