Too iconic. The discontinuation of the “Check It” branding in 2016 really marked the end of an era in cable television. Where Cartoon Network originals like Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Steven Universe were reaching their series finales within the next few years, and the general populace really started to see the impact on the rise of streaming services.
I cannot believe this was 13 years ago. I remember being 10 watching Adventure Time and Regular Show with these being inbetween. Yet it still feels like yesterday? So weird.
1.0- 2010-2012: Awsome,the best out of them 2.0- 2012: Never grew up whith but i saw some bumpers on the internet and it sucked 3.0- 2013-2015: creative i like it i dont know why people hate it 4.0-2016-present: Modern shit
Can't necessarily agree with 1.0. 2010-2011 was still *HEAVILY* into the CN Real era/block/whatever you want to call it. Don't get me wrong though, Adventure Time, Regular Show and Gumball really did bring CN back from the grave but if I were to describe 1.0 it would be more like "Sucked but bumpers were the best out of the Check it era and CN was starting to get okay again."
Back when the Check It was CHECK it (checkerboardy) They changed into this cause maybe they just wanted to go overboard with the Checkerboard which Cartoon Network is best known for. Or they wanted to make an environment where "cool" shows would air. I heard they did this or changed the logo because they wanted to tell us they were going from cartoons to live action
I remember this rebrand in real time when I was around 6 years old and watching the newest episode of Ultimate alien, the one where Ultimate Cannonbolt got unveiled.
Back when Cartoon Network had a tone shift to focus on the Teenage Demographic, Thus the more Radicalized Aesthetic and Mature themes. How I miss This Era CHECK it 1.0 (2010 to 2012). I also like CHECK it 3.0 too (2013 to 2014). Nostalgic.....

I loved 1-2.0 but 3.0 even though it was probably one of the last good eras when it came to programming in the early 10’s, it’s bumpers I could not stand at all. something about the switch to painstakingly bright colours really put me off from the station at the time

My favorite one by you. Cartoon Network never actually used these transitions for some of these things, meaning you had to make them fit by yourself. Also, the smoothness between bumpers had to be created by you because Cartoon Network had no use for them. Amazing work!

Cartoon Network was established on October 1 1992. Then on June 14 2004, the channel had it's first logo change. During this time, the was the City Era(2004-2007), the Wedgies Era(2007-2008), and the Nood Era(2008-2009 or 2010). After that, Cartoon Network had it's modern rebrand on May 29 2010.
The start of CN Arabia was similar to that because they started with this on 10/10/2010 10:10 AM But the different is that the logo have a block in the down writed in arabic (بالعربية)
Since Cartoon Network changed their logo last year they are finally good again and not horrible, ESPECIALLY with the noods, I like Cartoon Network again. I really hope it will get even better for the network. :)
They have started putting on more old shows like ed edd and eddy, scooby doo where are you, Codename KND, and have moved cartoon planet to saturdays and sundays.

I may be an old coot, but this is perhaps the worst rebrand ever. It looks far too "modern" and everything's a mess. The music is great, and I like the "movie premiere" short, but everything else is seems like it's aimed to the "smartphone/app" generation. It doesn't represent the cartoony nonsense of Cartoon Network very well.

I doubt they will make more money due to a re-design. It's the shows that are making people come back to this channel, not because it looks "good" or "bad". The design they have today is much better
Also this is a weird thing but in other countries I saw the old version of Cartoon Network with the old logo and they were playing the amazing world of gumball that means this rebrand only went to the USA but other countries still had the old version of Cartoon Network so that’s weird

ALSO, they need show dexter and powerpuff girls more often!! one last thing- hall of games is not only live-action and not a cartoon BUT it's an awards show!! like WTF?! I like their current look except the unaired bumpers.
I may be an old coot, but this is perhaps the worst rebrand ever. It looks far too "modern" and everything's a mess. The music is great, and I like the "movie premiere" short, but everything else is seems like it's aimed to the "smartphone/app" generation. It doesn't represent the cartoony nonsense of Cartoon Network very well.

I doubt they will make more money due to a re-design. It's the shows that are making people come back to this channel, not because it looks "good" or "bad". The design they have today is much better

Also this is a weird thing but in other countries I saw the old version of Cartoon Network with the old logo and they were playing the amazing world of gumball that means this rebrand only went to the USA but other countries still had the old version of Cartoon Network so that’s weird

this branding is like their best!! and CN is awesome again :D i think tower prep and unsolved mystery got cancelled ^_^ also, lots of the classics are back BUT they need to bring back johnny bravo as well. ALSO, they need show dexter and powerpuff girls more often!! one last thing- hall of games is not only live-action and not a cartoon BUT it's an awards show!! like WTF?! Dont watch and hopefully itll die
