I just never got into lululemon in the first place because when I was probably 7 or 8 I remember seeing something on an entertainment news show about the owner saying he'd named the brand lululemon because he "liked to watch Asians try to pronounce it" and from that day foreward Lululemon was always just a brand I ignored lmao. I know that most brand execs are probably shitty in one way or another, but this was just something that stuck in my memory 😅

@nbd6213 I don’t think the person was referring that all luxury brand names have high quality. Lululemon has some topnotch quality. Plus, they hem your clothes for you and have warranties on their clothes. It’s expensive for sure but you get what you pay for (sometimes).
The hold tight line really isn’t special but the fabric make up of the classic fit cotton blend tops are absolutely fantastic. I favorite them over all my other tops and I see no signs of wear after 1.5yrs. The price is worth it if you are fast enough to grab it on markdown. And I’m a snob about fabric composition too… the blend of cotton, linen, and nylon is top notch and I stand by it!
Being in to fashion and buying the best bang for your buck clothing are very different mindsets. I love designer brands, i wont spend infinite amounts of money on it but i also wont settle for something ”close enough” i know what i want and i get it
All my lulu have held for 5+ years and still looks new. I workout everyday, high impact workouts too! I’d say think about it this way: Gold plated earrings that are cheap but won’t last Genuine gold that would last
I don't even go into lululemon anymore because it just makes me so sad. They're peak "earn a good reputation due to good products that are worth the $100 then cut quality to all hell." My 2010 yoga pants are still going strong while being worn on a regular basis, but anything I bought after 2015 or so has not lasted more than 2 years or so.
I refuse to buy any of their sweat stuff, (sweaters, crewneck, sweatpants) because they are so expensive and I know I can get the same somewhere else. I buy those leggings tho half off!!! Love their leggings 😭
Lululemon leggings are legitimately the best leggings on the market. They last for years without pilling, tearing or unraveling at the seams. I’ve also gotten cheaper leggings and while they might look similar, they last for about 1/5 of the longevity of lululemon
the one thing i really love from lululemon is their swiftly tech t shirts. i play lots of sports and it is the only shirt that is comfortable to wear for practice and doesn’t show my sweat.
Another thing you should avoid getting is water bottles. I got one for around $48 I think and I used it for when I was playing soccer. I dropped it and the lid cracked open within one week. Def would recommend a hydro flask or something like that. (Not a Stanley unless you wanna be a basic white girl)
Obv some items you don't need this expensive but I feel like some ya'll forget that this athletic wear, it's not going to be priced the same as an ordinary t-shirt from H&M or Walmart. Other athletic wear is just as expensive! Personally, haven't loved the tanks, but I would say the shorts are a definite buy (and the quality of lululemon clothing is just wow).

No middle seams and stitching down the crotch is much more comfortable on the lady parts! they feel like I’m not wearing anything. Even the Nike Lux line doesn’t compare! Once you go lululemon you can’t go back, I didn’t know the hype until I tried it
