Constructive Criticism: I think you should really visually show off the helmet more. Show me what it looks like, hold it up to the camera, rotate it around, show closeups of how the vents and fit adjuster work, show me the ins and outs! I think there was a little too much verbal, not-that-useful commentary like "They kinda look a little bit more high techy."

Yes they are.
I have visual impairment with Profound Contrast impairment.. I got the Smith Guide's Choice Low Light Ignitor with Techlite frames.. These are the very best for seeing the variances in the road, (ie: potholes, curbs, dips, ruts) I tried the Smith Guide's Choise ChromaPop and thought they would help me see the curbs better.. I tried them on side by side.. And i can't tell a difference Between the ChromaPop at $259.. and the Low Light Ignitor lenses at $142 on sale.. Actually the ignitors have better light and brighten up the details.. The more expensive ChromaPop were too dark for me.. I felt like i was in the shade.. They both offer scratch proof glass lenses, that repel water and smudges.. And they are both 100% UV protection... I'm so please with my Guide's Choice polarized low light ignitors. (and youtube spell check still thinks i'm spelling "ignitors" incorrectly) they need a better spell check that knows English.. LOL
Just goes to show you that if you spend more you get more but it might not be better for your needs.
@@thehouse house.. if Smith would put 1 of each lens in their dealers hands, or even at the corporate office in Portland, A potential customer with specific visual impairment, could walk in and sample to see which lens is best for their eye condition. Everyone's eyes are different, and until you try a specific lens, you won't know if it will do what it claims. My impairment made the ChromaPop lens $100 too much for the basic low light ignitors i needed... Words cannot describe what the viewer will experience because we are all unique.. Samples to try would be a good step in the right direction.
Does SmithOptics have a cycling helmet designed for the kind of impacts (mostly side) for Recumbent Trike riders..? The kind of injuries for Recumbent Trike riders have need different protection.. I have not found anyone on the market with a helmet with those specs..
Not sure to be honest. Most of the bike helmets offer full protection all around your head. But I can’t say that I’ve ever seen one specifically for recumbent bikes.
How do I adjust the Lifestyle Fit System on the Maze? I think there are like 3 sizes right?
The LFS system is an elastic strap that automatically stretches to fit a wider variety of head shapes.
The Holt was advertised as a "multi-season" helmet (snow/skate park). Is the Maze also considered a "multiseason" helmet when the earpads are removed? I pretty much want to use it for both skateboarding in the summer and snowboarding in the winter
I would do the Holt, more ventilation for summer time
are these helmets designed for cycling, skiing, motorcycles..or people who trip a lot..? it would be nice if you mention what they are intended for.
These are snow helmets for skiing and snowboarding.

I know this wasn’t spoke about here but is there a difference between the Code and Code Asian style?
The Code Asian fit is slightly smaller in construction.
I have been looking all over for the yellow Quantum helmet, but I can't find it anywhere! Didn't it go to production or was it just a seasonal color for 2020?
Yeah, usually the black colorways are the ones that carry over year to year and then they switch up the other colorways
Is there a way to remove the adjuster from the scout? I fond it gets in the way of my goggles under the helmet
There might be but wouldn't suggest it because then you're messing with how the helmet fits. An ill fitting helmet wont protect your head properly. Id just run em on the outside.
Can I take out the ear pads?
