Beautiful. We always say we accept the risks every time we enter the ocean, but to accept the consequences of something like this, in this way, is true strength. Connection. One.
What a great attitude to say he’s a survivor and not a victim. Love his courage and how he pushes forward. This man is fearless to not let a shark stop him from doing what he loves. This guy is definitely a man of faith and conviction. God bless you and stay strong.
I was fortunate to be introduced to Rodney Orr when I was a teenager scouting waves. Attacked twice in life by the grey suit. I shook his hand and asked no questions. He had this demeanor of ‘diving is what I do’. Never forgot that.
I have a huge fear of the ocean, without having to worry about the life within it. But I am absolutely fascinated by it Your story is incredible. Your new chapter is even more so. You’re inspirational to many!
Inspirational young man what a story. As a longterm Western Cape surfer its something that a certain spots you are aware of. But never think its going to be you. You have my absolute respect.
inspirational guy. Such a well put together piece. And yes, on the other side of a challenge is growth, on the other side of fear is opportunity, on the other side of pain is resiliance and on the other side of loss is gain. Thank you
Awesome story man You are a beautiful person! I think my greatest fear is a big hungry shark in deep water. I pray you are safe in the water when you swim.
I've had some horrifying near death injuries/accidents/attacks in my 62 years and I know how truly terrifying my dreams/nightmares are, but a shark attack is definitely up there in my list of horrors so I wonder what your dreams are like?
Amazing story but getting back in the ocean after that is making your guardian angel work over time😂 But I get it we all put our lives at risk just driving a car everyday. And we all gotta die some time might as well go out in a epic adventure.

Вы заходите в океан зная что там белые акулы плавают
Don't go in the ocean. Not worth the price
Ocean is worth every minute 🙏🙏🙏
What a stupid comment
I used to think that, then it cast it's spell on me.
