      Yeah you can get pretty crazy with OP-I thanks to the regen being so broken

      Part of that is also just the CGP-ROZ being absurdly strong. It’s ‘balanced’ by being quite heavy, but there’s very few situations where it isn’t worth building around it. There’s a good reason why 23 Ravens in AC3 and 15 in SL use it. And then of course it gets amplified even more by the OP-I.

    Just so you know with OP-I enchancements as a Raven pilot you are almost as a husk, you are surgically more connected towards the AC gaining more capabilities you are almost not human

    This is why I don’t like the stagger mechanic in AC 6 I feel like it takes away more from the gameplay rather than adds to it especially in the one on one fights against bosses and players. essentially being forced to throttle yourself rather than being able to go all out With your entire arsenal like the previous games, I really hope that the developers take the requests to get rid of the stagger mechanic seriously though it’s probably not gonna happen.

    • @SomeNamelessNobody
      @SomeNamelessNobody  9 месяцев назад +4

      I really hope the stagger mechanic either gets changed or removed from the next gen 6 game myself. Because it does one of two things, either it makes the game frustrating if you ignore it or it makes the game way too easy if you abuse it. That is just my opinion but I honestly feel AC6 would have been so much better without the stagger system it has currently. And I feel like the bosses and AC fights could have been a lot more interesting and challenging if the stagger system was different.

    • @BlazeEmerald
      @BlazeEmerald 9 месяцев назад +3

      I agree completely. Also, without the game being built around it we would probably have less exaggerated damage numbers, which would mean no need for repair kits to compensate for enemies being able to near instantly delete 2/3 of a middleweight's AP as the norm.
      Either way imo, the worst part of stagger is how hard it kills immersion to see your control system failing and needing to recalibrate, while the gameplay ramification of it is that you instantly stop with negligible inertia and float in midair. If anything you would expect the exact opposite, turning your AC into a physics object that just does whatever gravity and inertia say it should. Same with using heavy cannons on non Quads/Tanks, that midair stop instantly kills the mood.

      maybe just erase dmg multiplier from stag
      just like old gen our ac just staartled a bit

    • @Vulture_5
      @Vulture_5 9 месяцев назад +1

      Stagger mechanic should be more like the previous gens did, a gimmick that just hard hitting weapons can have some benefit from it.
      I wouldn't mind if they just switch it to heat system (from AC2/Early 3rd Gen) in a sequel, would be more reasonable than dealing with a goddamn stun effect that hurts the pacing of the game both in PvE and PvP.
      And yes, I prefer a minor DoT than a stun.

    • @Schpoonman
      @Schpoonman 9 месяцев назад +1

      One of the gen 6 changes I dislike most is the wait on energy recharging when in the air. I can live with not getting EN back as soon as I stop quickboosting or boosting into the air, but the tiniest gap underneath your AC will stop EN recharge entirely and restart the timer.

      @AlvinLu-u2z 9 месяцев назад +3

      Ignoring the part where Kojima particles cause massive damage to everything it touchs and how they only need a few lucky shots to kill a normal, not the mention how a properly functioning next is basically untouchable.

      @user-ey7qf4qm3c yeah it's pretty hard to keep up with your enemy when their standard rifles do as much as your back mounted grenade launcher I suppose.

    I have been wondering, is there a reason you don't drop weapons when you run dry or is it just something you have not integrated into your playstyle? If the former what is the reason? Either way this is making me wanna do an OP-I build in Silent Line, since I actively avoided using it during my main playthru of stuff and right now I am clearing out the remaining parts.

    • @SomeNamelessNobody
      @SomeNamelessNobody  9 месяцев назад +2

      I don't drop the weapons in AC3 and SL because my controls don't let me. I have tried but nothing I do with my controls will let me so I gave up on it.
      And OP-I is very fun to use. But I would say wait until you already did everything or use it in content you already cleared. Because it definitely makes the game a lot easier.

    • @BlazeEmerald
      @BlazeEmerald 9 месяцев назад

      @@SomeNamelessNobody Figured it would either be that or making you too fast.
      At this point I have done all the missions, so it's mostly parts that need you to speedrun or maintain a certain amount of AP left, so I really should be considering OP-I builds by now.

      @@SomeNamelessNobody purge needs you to have move left and move right to be "non-conflicting" controls this is an issue if you mapped them to analog sticks if not mistaken by mapping strafe left and right look up and down on the face buttons you can purge
      basically as long as you meet the requirements that 2 sets of functions isnt tied to 1 button, and that your fingers dont need to contort you can purge in this case dpad strafe isnt logical for purge
