Peppermint hack: bring your own peppermint extract drops, a square off unsweetened chocolate, and Stevie drops. Blend. The hot coffee melts the chocolate nicely! I’ve actually done this with Andes candies, Milky Way, etc but obviously more sugar
They have a pumpkin spice shaker. You can ask to use it. Also we have chai tea bags and then there's the chai tea concentrate with all the crap. A flat white is ristretto shots (longer pulled shots) and whole milk. Compared to cafe latte which is regular espresso shots and 2% milk. Also the eggnog is cut with nonfat milk. They could have poured pure eggnog mixture and whatever milk you wanted into a steaming pitcher and steamed it. Basically have less of the eggnog.
So glad you posted this! I stopped drinking their coffee to lose weight. I would buy a caramel macchiato every morning before work because I was addicted. The moment I stopped drinking their coffee, was the moment I immediately started losing weight! I was so bloated from their coffee, I wouldn’t have guessed they were the culprit.
I’m type 1 diabetic and I typically do have regular sugar in my coffee if I’m running low. I tend to go without flavors if I’m running high (as long as I’m eating clean I can handle a little sugar) My favorite coffee shop is a block away from my place (they are awesome about letting me know what’s in my drinks)
Wow, all these years I thought whipped cream upset my stomach, and after watching you for a few months now, I realize it’s the carrageenan!! Just wow! Thanks for what you do. Please never stop!
I made a “cafe mocha” at home that was delicious using a few drops of stevia, a bit of cacao powder, and some homemade whipped cream with a little bit of erythritol and vanilla extract in my coffee. It gave me a mocha experience without any of the excess calories, sugar or inflammatory ingredients.

Hey! Just wanted to say that a Tall is 12 ounces so not quite 16 ounces. I believe that's a grande size. So divide those numbers by 3/4. Either way, still loaded with sugar of course! Great video.
This was so informative and educational! Thank you for doing this. I’m going to try a flat white with a plant based milk and get a stevia dropper to keep in hand. Didn’t know about the single origin coffee & the decaffeinated beans. Appreciate this!
Since you are all about healthy I am so glad that you are exposing how many calories people are drinking everyday which can be more than 2 meals in 16 ounces.
Many people know the Starbucks drinks are loaded with sugar and expensive. But they drink them anyway because they like the taste. Americans like to enjoy now and pay for it later.
So glad that you did this Bobby. I work for a large pharmaceutical company and I totally agree that these are “diabetes in a cup”! It drives me crazy that they add all of that sugar to the matcha (my favorite) pre-made! I do look forward to my 3:00 Coffee Bean (guilty pleasure) and I am excited to learn that the Matcha made it to their “Lightened” menu. However, half the sugar = half the matcha. I actually just bought the individual matcha packets from Trader Joe’s and maybe I should get your frothier and head over to Coffee Bean and make my own Matcha 😏 after I pay $4.50 for their small cup. Keep up the great videos! I love that you are making the world a healthier place!
I really really enjoyed this video! Love the idea of trying out popular items people eat at restaurants. I definitely need to check my ingredients better at Starbucks now! I typically just get a Pike Place coffee with the almond milk. I used to get the soy, so glad they have more milks now.
Thank you for all the info you’ve presented here. My favorite is the caramel macchiato but I ask for a tall with non fat milk 2 shots of expreso one shot sugar free vanilla and I do ask for the caramel swirls. It tastes pretty good and my sugar doesn’t spike as high as with a regular macchiato. I’ve also made my own at home too. 👍🏻 ☕️
I used to HATE the taste of ALL sweeteners! They actually made me feel sick. But the I started keto and went 2 months without anything sweet. I tried a tiny bit of sweetener at a time and gradually I developed a taste for it. I prefer erithrytol or monk fruit.
Our Starbucks offers organic milk for a bit under a buck more. Both in CA and OR. I would just order black coffee, drink a bit black , ask for the barista to put a pour of organic milk real quick. Cheaper than a flat white and get some caffeine. Since I do not drink dairy, I would go get the soy milk at the station for a black coffee. Add your cinnamon.
Great review. I am a senior citizen, living on a pension. Have to be very frugal. If I go to the Starbucks, I only get a regular coffee. I really don't care for all the sweet ones. P.S. the best capacheno is in Italy. ❤❤❤ Italian coffee.
One simple way to make pumpkin spice latte at home is to just sprinkle pumpkin spice into your ground coffee. u might need to sprinkle more/less depending on how strong ur coffee is. when the coffee is done brewing, it'll have a wonderful pumpkin spice flavor! best of all, u can adjust the sugar content to your taste. Personally i never add any. I've tried this hack with cinnamon as well
So the batista was partially incorrect about the use of nondairy milk in the eggnog latte. He's correct in that an eggnog latte can never be dairy free, because the eggnog contains dairy. However, Starbucks does cut the drink with regular milk to make it less thick, which could be done with a nondairy milk. I buy this frequently throughout the winter season. While this won't eliminate the dairy altogether, you can still reduce your intake while still enjoying the latte.
I love the videos that include the whole family 😊. I’m going to try and get my goddaughter to watch this video. She is going into a scientific field, but she is addicted to these drinks.
Starbucks use to have organic milk when they first opened. Stevia is hard on the kidney’s. Stop going to Starbucks years ago.. not worth the money or eventual health problems caused by all the “icky” chemicals and sugar. Great video..love how it’s so real..beautiful baby and wife .. just joined your channel.
My daughter works for Starbucks 🥴 but never buy their drinks. My body cannot tolerate any caffeine. What decaf coffee do you recommend? Thank you! Merry Christmas! 🎄🤗❤
I really enjoy the Matcha Green Tea Latte with almond milk. Is it true that the sugar in it cancels out the benefits of the matcha? I thought one would receive both benefits, and sugar. I do not drink this often at all. Honestly these seem to be more of once in a while treats but its also dangerous to have such addictive unhealthy drinks so easily accessible and normalized.
By the way for black coffee at Starbucks you can always order a "pour over" for any of the beans even if they don't brew them. So the Christmas blend you can order that as black coffee single cup pour over
I have made a cooked pumpkin puree and coconut cream and pumpkin spices and stevia and add to my coffee for a similar taste. Keep in a frig and use a Tbsp or so and you can add almond milk for more of a latte.
About 10+ years ago Starbucks USED to have organic grass fed whole milk. It was sooo good. I have since become intolerant to most dairy so I stick with almond milk.
Another wonderful video! Thank you. I remember the first time I ever heard of Starbucks' Caramel Macchiato was when Meg Ryan's character ordered one in the 1998 film "You've Got Mail."
You should have put all those spices back for the other patrons, surprised someone did not complain and you guys got asked to leave. Next time could you do a review for the keto/low carb viewers?
Favorites are the flat white and the caramel macchiato I always ask them to give me an extra shot of espresso for the macchiato and two pumps less of their sweetener and that makes it taste much much better you can takes the coffee you can taste sweetness but it's not at all overwhelming
There are many ways you can customize your drink at Starbucks to reduce sugar and carbs and turn those into the so called "keto friendly" drink. However, you just can do that much customization especially if you're always in a rush. So, I'd say: stick with black coffee or just don't go to Starbuck. Great video though
Some matcha is not bitter. I’m not sure if it’s always the price point or something else but I got a really pricey matcha from Kyoto and that matcha wasn’t bitter at all. It was so smooth and delicious. So I use a little bit cheaper matcha for latte and if it’s just water and matcha, I se the more expensive one cause you can taste it more.
My favorite is the white mocha peppermint latte followed by the vanilla latte! I haven't had any all season since I have been trying to cut down on sugar & artificial ingredients.. But I was gifted a Starbucks gift card! Might just use it towards a bag of single roast coffee or maybe a fresh brewed iced tea ;)
I have always been a black coffee drinker. When you start adding stuff, it’s no longer coffee. My one exception is I love egg nog and egg nog lattes but I’ve cut all milk from my diet so it’s back to black coffee only. 😁☕️

I mean did anyone really think that some of these drinks were not filled with crappy filler ingredients? But fun to watch you guys....and dang your Starbucks is very friendly for filming!
Cool. I've been working for Starbucks for 2 years. My drink of choice is cold brew just black. It doesn't lose it's flavor like espresso so I can sip on it my whole shift. Looks like they skipped the whip on your PSL and your PM.
My usual order is a Tall Dark Roast , sometimes with steamed Whole Milk. Grass Fed or Organic Milk would be AMAZING , otherwise, just black coffee for me thank you 😎☕️
We have Peets and Philz coffee in California. I don't go for the sweet coffee anymore but I was craving some eggnog. Thanks for telling me what's in it. Save by the bell.....going to make my own. Happy holidays!!! Thanks
That is absolutely correct when you get the fancy ones they do not taste like coffee so if you ask the barista to go half syrup extra espresso for a treat it may be better. I think it’s awesome now that I listened to the whole video that you go through all the drinks and highlight the ingredients and then people can make a choice of their own and their informed. But you definitely need to look into orHighlight fair trade in organic for coffee

For decades in Ireland Carragean Moss picked directly off the shoreline rocks was eaten and is considered a healthy seafood especially for sore throats etc. Clearly direct seaweed from the sea may not b the best thing to eat especially with all the other pollutants. Any views on the matter?
Never go to Starbucks, just came for the cute baby, lol!
Hi Bobby, Dessi, Art and Rose. Thanks for another informative and interesting video. My favorite frothers on Amazon currently are the ones by FoodVille and Dallfoll. Both are great. The frother you linked is just so so, review wise. Happy Holidays. Rose is such a good baby, and adorable.
Grass Fed or Organic Milk would be AMAZING , otherwise, just black coffee for me thank you 😎☕️
this guy must be fun at parties 19:25 the expression of the baby and the headturn when bobby says "Starbucks using the chemical"
For the late substitute, just order a plain late with whatever milk you want, then you can add the spices!!
I'm so blessed to work as a student in a local coffee roastery in germany.
I know where everything comes from :D
We get a spice nog from a local dairy farm in Ohio (Snowville) that has clean ingredients and A2 milk. Only thing I can find without all the junk!
I used to drink pumpkin spice all the time lol now i drink black coffee with cream and stevia and the food video will be good. :)
Thank you for sharing!!! Merry Christmas!
💞 So useful! Good to know more healthy choices when out-of-the--house, especially when going to drive-thru and coffee shops. Nice to see the Parish ladies💞
Thanks for the video Dessi, Bobby, Rose and Art!! Mad love to you all! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗🤗
Agree 💯 about the lack of non GMO MILK PRODUCTS
I never hear you mention the fact that coffee Growers use tons of pesticides so organic coffee is definitely the way to go also fair trade
can u talk about "honey" ie pure , unpasteurized , natural, grade A, raw , unfiltered , infused with hemp extract to name a few options. I hope im not being too specific im just curious
McPhee's honey in Kauai is amazing. I give jars away for Christmas gifts
@@auntyuber5127 ty ill check this 1 out
When I worked at Starbucks they cut the eggnog with milk because it was so thick and it’s still so sweet. Some people wanted it not cut with milk and that was THE worst. This may have changed.
White mocha with oat milk is awesome and I got that red Xmas coffee is 35% off regular.
You guys make a beautiful family!!!!!.sooo refreshing!!!!! Thanks for all your hard work & information!!!!! Very much appreciated!!!!! Your my go to!!!!!
My favorite is the white mocha 🥺 Rose is so adorable 😍
