Great to see someone who has a good understanding of AI's power. Just getting used to the pen tool from only tracing with with the pencil and brush, and seeing the ways you use the shape builder/pathfinder tools is great. Very inspiring.

That's cool to see how you just improvise the vector. I usually need a bit of a sketch first as a guide, otherwise it feels like my first draft gets way too wonky and disproportionate. Mind you I'm not a great illustrator. But anyway, I enjoyed seeing this.

Why is he so sure in each of his path. I mastered pentool mechanism but i can't draw from my head to pentool. Him however draws what's inside his head accurately..

My habit when pentool is trace my arts (bought graphics tablet, does sketch on ps then trace it with Ai pentool)

Programming is easy. Creating your own graphic assets is hard. And it even seems as if 2d graphics is harder to create than 3d graphics.

You should learn some more shortcuts. Would make the process much faster (For example, Cmd/Ctrl+Square brackets changes where the selected layer is in the order)
I think he know how to use it.. he doing that... just for us who dont know the tool... so he show us the which the tool... sorry bad english hahahha
@@feat2brothers667 He had the shortcuts he used appear on screen, though. Like at 0:26 you can see him press 'a' to switch to the direct selection tool.
